Pro-Pakistan earlier covered the IPL episode in which Indian RAW used its underworld contacts to lobby for keeping out the Pakistan players. Since then we have heard the Indian media sharing the facts with everyone. Even the Indian selectors shared the undue pressure put on them for not biding for Pakistani players. Shah Rukh Khan has joined the club and while speaking to NDTV, Shah Rukh Khan says he believes the Pakistani players should have been chosen. But, he went on to say that since there were issues between India and Pakistan, the IPL should have handled the issues better. Watch the video below and give us your comments [click to continue...]

Pakistan vs Newzealand: 3rd Test Live Streaming
Its been a great series in my opinion with bowlers dominating and batsmen from both sides totally at sea barring Taylor and the Akmal brothers. The 3rd test match however is going to be a little different, as the Napier pitch in the past is a true batting wicket. Expect all the underperforming players to suddenly score good cheap runs. In such a situation I would rate the Pakistani team to be in a better position to win the test match because they have a better bowling attack and their batting is well suited for batting wickets , plus the middle order is more experienced than Kiwis. Bond will be dearly missed in this test match.
Here are the teams for the match;
Pakistan: 1 Imran Farhat, 2 Salman Butt, 3 Faisal Iqbal, 4 Mohammad Yousuf (capt), 5 Misbah-ul-Haq, 6 Umar Akmal, 7 Kamran Akmal (wk), 8 Mohammad Aamer, 9 Umar Gul, 10 Danish Kaneria, 11 Mohammad Asif.
New Zealand: 1 Tim McIntosh, 2 BJ Watling, 3 Martin Guptill, 4 Ross Taylor, 5 Daniel Flynn, 6 Daniel Vettori (capt), 7 Brendon McCullum (wk), 8 Tim Southee/ Jeetan Patel, 9 Daryl Tuffey, 10 Ian O’Brien, 11 Chris Martin.
We will show the match live here , when it starts -

Baithullah Mehsud Death Video
I just came across this video of Baitullah Mehsud made after his death and thought to share it with our readers. In the video, Baitullah Mehsud has been shown lying in White cloth according to the customs of Muslims in his death bed. There is one person sitting next to his death bed and seems struck by the anguish. Moreover, there is not much noise in the audio and it seems the body is lying in a quiet place. Also the video is made from cell phone and the person who made the video is heard saying the following two sentences:
1) “If there was some leader, he would have done the arrangements”
2) “May Allah destroy those who dont fight with guns but with unknown things” (referring to drone attack in which Baitullah Mahsud has been killed”

Zee TV Slaps Indian Cricket Team - Video Post
I never expected such a response from Zee Tv on the match loss by Indian team against Pakistan. It is a fact that Indians have lost more matches against Pakistan then vice versa and they should expect it to be a norm now rather then acting in such a manner. The Indian media should have shown some sportsmen spirit instead of this report which dramatize the whole situation and take thiings out of context. Watch below the video and let us know what you think? Am glad our media never went to this level when ever we lost the match, though its rare :)

3.3 Minutes to Martyrs of Pakistan Armed Forces
This 3.34 minutes video is just a reflection on the lives of thousands of our brave soldiers who lost their lives in the War on Terror. These young and beautiful soldiers have sacrificed their lives for our motherland. Today we are enjoying the peace and comfort because of their blood. Look at the tears in the eyes of the brave mothers who are still raising just one slogan and that is “Pakistan Zindabad” and that their sons are “Not Dead as Shaheeds never Die”
Pro-Pakistan Salute These Brave Soldiers and their Families and the Whole Armed Forces of Pakistan for their sacrifices to Save Pakistan.

India vs New Zealand Compaq Cup 2009 (India in Sri Lanka) 3rd ODI Match Watch Live online, Online live score updates. Will put the URLS later.
Quick Commentary before Match:
With both teams already in the Final of Compaq Cup, today’s game is almost like practice game for Sri Lanka and India before clashing for the title on Monday. However both teams will look for win to carry momentum towards final of Compaq Cup.
India on the other hand will also be keen to win both of the remaining two matches of Compaq Cup to remain Number One ODI Team in the world. After beating New Zealand quite comfortably in their first match they surpass South Africa at top of ICC ODI ranking and now they are number one team in the world.
To maintain the ranking they must win remaining of their two matches before going into ICC Champions Trophy. Sri Lanka on the other hand also look to improve there record against visitors which not good as they would liked in last two years. They have lost both the series they have played against India on their home soil and now they will be keen to take the revenge from the confident Indian team.
Indian bowlers are also looked in great shape against New Zealand in the first game and same applied to Sri Lankan bowlers also as both team bowlers able to bowl out kiwis for very low scores. It will be interesting to see how they perform against each other against tough components.
Batting wise both team looks settled on paper but as we have seen in the two matches played at R.Premdasa stadium any batting team need patience and common sense to score on this type of slow wicket. So batting holds the keys in tolday’s game.
We will bring you the ODI match live here on Friday 12th September - So stay tuned for live streaming and links: [click to continue...]

Umar Akmal Maiden ODI Century: Celebration Footage
Umar Akmal smashed his maiden ODI century for Pakistan as he amassed 102 in only 72 balls. With powerhouses of Pakistani middle order Yousaf, Misbah and Malik having all sorts of problems against decent Srilankan bowling, Akmal just make them look very ordinary. In his past two matches he has played the two best spinners in cricket (Murli and Mendis) with utmost ease.
You can argue the pressure of winning the series wasn’t there, but maiden ODI centuries don’t come cleaner than this. Walking to the crease with Pakistan 130 for 4, with a struggling captain searching for a partner and only Shahid Afridi to follow, young Umar Akmal took the opportunity to prove that not all is as made to believe about Pakistan’s domestic set-up with an amazing 72-ball 102.
