Ufone has recently launched another irresistible offer for cellular consumers on other networks to join Ufone. The latest Mobile Number Portability (MNP) offer allows customers to port their numbers on Ufone’s network without any hassle. [Telecom] Ufone recently launched the first of its kind “Awaz Email” which allows users to send a voice message to any email address anywhere in the world. By launch of this innovative service, Ufone has once again taken the telecom industry by storm.
The customers only have to dial 4412 from their Ufone and record the message they wish to send. This interactive voice recorded service gives the customer the option to listen to the message before it is sent and if required the message can be changed before sending. For customer convenience an SMS is sent to the sender after the message has been confirmed to reply with the recipients email address, after which the sender will get a confirmation SMS that the Awaz Email has been sent. We earlier covered the launch of Blackberry Bold phone in Pakistan and since then approximately all telecom operators offered it in their portfolio of Blackberry phones. However, Ufone has now launched Blackberry Bold (9000) in pure White color in Pakistan. Previously, Ufone launched the traditional Blackberry Bold in black color only. However, this move has again made Ufone the first operator to offer this ohone in Pakistan. According to Ufone website:

Ufone has finally done away with its old website and came out with a newly designed website. The new website of Ufone is such that most of the options are laid on the front page and hence customers and visitors can easily browse through various pages. The front page also contains banner ads of various Ufone offerings.
The interesting factor about the new site is that it has brought a lot of focus on Value Added Services offered by Ufone. In the previous website of Ufone, customer had to search for Mobile Games, Top Videos and Wallpapers while in their new website, Ufone has brought all those offerings to the front page to give them more visibility. It will surely add to the existing revenues from the VAS. The new website also offers Live Chat Support to its postpaid subscribers on its website. I wonder why they can not extend these services to Prepaid subscribers as well?
