Electricity Theft In Nawaz Sharif Rally

by Owais Ehsan on March 2, 2010

Just when we thought that the Politicians and political parties can’t get any more dishonorable and shameless, another incident happened live on Pakistani channels. Yes Folks PML (N)  Rally was powered by illegal electricity connection. Isnt it funny! how the bearers of the poor are caught red handed trying to be too smart.

According to the sources, Nawaz Sharif addressed party workers on Grand Trunk Road near University of Engineering and Technology. While Nawaz made a case for his own leadership in overcoming the problems of the common man, sources said the electricity provided to the PML-N meeting had been “stolen from WAPDA’s main line”.

Pictures on Geo tv clearly showed hooks were used to steal power from the main electricity lines. PML (N) at the time was doing a campagin for the upcoming NA -123 by-elections. The stolen electricity was used to power flood lights and speakers for the rally. Knowing the sensitivity of the issue and the fact that they were caught red handed , PML hastily arranged a press conferernce to clear the issue out. [click to continue...]

Shumaila Anjum Rana - The Cyber Thief of PML-N

by MJK on July 12, 2009

No wonder PML-N is as corrupt a party as the current PPP government is and that is evident from the incidents of corruption and malpractices by its party leaders. We all know the incidents of PML-N ministers pushing a female minister in the Punjab Assembly and we all are also aware how their minister raped a women and later pressurized her into a deal. If all this was not enough, the Shumaila Anjum Rana decided to come out with an innovative and a high tech crime but she executed it poorly.

Shumaila Anjum Rana decided to steal the credit cards of her fellow gym partner when she was busy lifting some heavy weights. Shumaila must have taken some pick pocket crash courses in her childhood to do a clean sweep without being noticed. On the other hand, she chose Siddique Trade Centre as the best destination to do some shopping and bought some gold sets. She was not careful enough to send someone else and instead went herself to commit the crime in front of the security cameras and hence her story is now public. But at the end of the day, such people are so shameless that they are least bothered about it and will even feel proud to have got some coverage in the media. [click to continue...]

Deadline on Deadline for Judges Restoration

by MJK on August 22, 2008

The PML-N has again given a deadline for the restoration of judges because of one reason or another but the underlying reason is that they themselves need time to build their reputation in the public, which they will use when the government is toppled and new elections are held.

The new deadline is going to expire on Wednesday and hence the judges should be restored till that date. I don’t think that it will happen because a corrupt party like PPP whose survival is dependent on NRO can not afford to have independent judiciary. Therefore, these delaying techniques will be used time and again to make sure that the common man forget the judges and hence the coalition government can get away with their corruptions of the past.

Even the Mullah Fazul Rehman is also using his hypocrtic posture which is always ambigious. I wonder when our nation will get rid of such corrupt politicians who will never change. We, the people of Pakistan, are sick of these dramas that are staged on national television and hence want we want change. The so called change can only be implemented by an independent judges.
