Recently, Indian Prime Minister raised some serious questions about the security of Pakistani Nuclear Sites in his discussion with media during his visit to United States of America. According to Hindustran Times:
Manmohan Singh expressed his concern and worry about the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear arsenal, and the possibility of it falling into wrong hands.
“We worry about these contingencies. But, we have been assured by the United States, the Americans,” said Singh.
Indian Prime Minister left no stone unturned to fully utilize his visit to US to malign Pakistan. However, few days after the tall claims [Source: Hindustan Times] made by Indian PM, India authorities were forced to sound an alarm for possible terrorist attack on their nuclear site. According to Times of India story:
The Centre (India) has on the basis of fresh intelligence input put nuclear installations across the country on high alert. Though the input is specifically meant for Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC) in Trombay (Mumbai), the alerts have been sent to all the states having nuclear plants. They have been asked to step up patrolling and vigil around the facilities as a precautionary measure.
Besides putting BARC on highest alert, the government has also directed the Navy, Coast Guard and all other security agencies to take precautionary measures to protect such installations as most of them are located on the coast.
However, the event of yesterday proved that Indian nuclear sites are vulnerable to sabotage activities when some well placed insider poisoned more then 55 workers in state-run Kaiga atomic power plant in Indian state of Karnataka. The incident has [click to continue...]
America has been raising voices over safety of Pakistan’s Nuclear assets and deamnding too much from Pakistani Generals about Nuclear weapons’ safety. It was also learnt that America wanted IAEA to take control of Pakistan’s nuclear assets so that they are safe from terrorists. America also wanted access over Dr. AQ Khan for his alleged involvement in Nuclear Proliferation. Now, in a very shameful and a losuy act, Government Printing Office of USA posted the 266 pager draft on its website on Monday and that was by mistake! What a shame on US government who worry about others nukes but they can not safeguard their own information.
If they can not safegurad such sensitive information, should other nations be worried and press US hard to take control over US nukes? Or atleast somebody can give training to Govt. Printing Office, on how not to publish secret data, lolz! But this would not happen since it is case of Uncle Sam.
We have got hold of that highly secret pdf which is not secret any more. It contains details of the precise whereabouts of hundreds of its nuclear sites as well as fuel storage areas for its nuclear weapons stockpiles. The 266-page report marked “highly confidential” is raising fears among nuclear experts who cited security hazards.
The secret document includes many details about nuclear activities and facilities at Los Alamos, Livermore and Sandia nuclear weapons laboratories, as well as dozens of other federal and private nuclear sites. The maps further illustrate the exact location of laboratories’ tube vaults — cylinders embedded in concrete with a capacity of up to 44 tons of highly enriched uranium in 200 tubes each. There is a serious concern that the disclosure of the sites where nuclear fuel is stored could provide thieves or terrorists with the information they need to seize the material.
I read the story on The News that Pakistani nuclear weapons might fall in the hands of Taliban and the opinions of various so called Western experts on the issue in various media platforms. It just surprise me to the fact that either our Western Experts sitting in their offices in Pentagon and Washington are least aware of the ground reality in Pakistan or they are just too over dependent on their corrupt media to get their reports. I wonder how can their sources tell them that there is even slightest possibility of our nuclear weapons falling in wrong hands? What we can easily infer from their statements is what we have all been hearing not for days or months but for years that the Western governments and specially Israeli lobby is seriously concerned about Pakistani nuclear program and that is why they were first to label it “Islamic Bomb”. The name was given to it in early 90’s when there were no Talibans or Al Qaeda. The same groups who also happen to control the eyes and ears of our Western experts are feeding them the same info that server their purpose.
Authorities near Sihala have caught an Indian Spy planning to attack a Police College. The Plan is to destabilize the region close to Kahuta, in the process create an impression that Pakistan Nuclear Weapons are not safe from the so called Extremists and could fall anytime. Such plots carry in depth planning by RAW (Indian Spy Agency - Aka Terrorist Agency) to declare Pakistan’s Nuclear , a danger to the world. Indian Terrorist Agency RAW should be held responsible by the Pakistani Authorities and the Rats caught should be brought before the Media so that ordinary people and the world at large knows the true face behind unrest in Pakistan.
Interrogation of the five arrested was underway. They were seized on a tip off by the arrested Indian. The earlier arrest was made in the jurisdiction of Police College Sihala, near Rawalpindi, DawnNews reported. He was arrested on suspicion after being seen in the area, officials said. An investigation team has been set up to question him, Deputy Inspector General of Police and commandant of the college Fateh Sher Joyia told DawnNews. However, sources said the alleged Indian spy admitted that he and others were planning terror attacks on Police College Sihala, DawnNews reported. The alleged spy has been handed over to secret agencies for further investigation, sources told DawnNews.
Officials declined to give the name and other information on the Indian saying details could be shared only after the investigation process has been completed. However the DIG confirmed that maps of important Pakistani cities along with some phone numbers were recovered from his possession. The Indian was wearing five thick shirts and a belt, a police official said.
Pro Pakistan is an die hard supporter of our national hero Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan. We have always been protesting the stance taken by our previous government of keeping him under protective custody. Dr. AQ Khan is our her and we don’t have any doubt about his sincerity to the nation. We all know the aggressive posturing adopted by India after they tested their nuclear device and were talking about annihilating Pakistan. If it was not for the efforts of our brave scientists led by Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan, Pakistan would have found it hard to resist our enemy India, who would miss no chance to subdue us.
While surfing on the Internet i came upon this unusual video of launching of Indian Missile. Take a look and see how the aspiring World Power is couping up with its Missile technology.Â
British newspapers and magazines are usually known for printing their bed time fantasies but I never imagined that they could go to an extent which I have no other words to describe other then “Classical Western BS”.
Now the story to which I am referring is related to a new plot uncovered by some unknown Western Security Analyst. Now the start of the story itself is a classical example of biased reporting and excess of discrimination based on religion.
Islamist terrorists have stepped up their efforts to develop a “dirty” bomb for use against Western targets, senior Western security sources have told The Daily Telegraph.
Not only terrorists but specifically “Islamist Terrorists”. This is the type of media which inflame people and to bring “Clash of Civilizations” to reality. It is because of these groups that people start becoming the victims of Islamophobia. The whole article which can be found on the website of Daily Telegraph, has no substantial evidence in it except the usual Western propaganda ,that there is a probability of Pakistan Nuclear weapons falling into the hands of terrorists. If such broad assumptions can be made about the safety of Pakistan’s nuclear weapons, how can they ignore the fact that much bigger blunders were made by Americans which could trigger accidental nuclear war. If American bombers can carry nuclear weapons across the whole American continent without even knowing it themselves, how can some Western security analyst blame Pakistan for lack of security? In case that bomber would have fired the nuclear device on American city, the Daily Telegraph would have reported something like that:
“Islamists Muslim Terrorists disguised in the American plane and claiming to be American citizen and part of US Strategic Nuclear Force bombarded the honest, humble and innocent people of XYZ city of US. The bomb is said to be supplied by Pakistan and AQ Khan (Even though dead at that time), came out of his grave to equip the Islamists and even Osama claimed responsibility for the attack from some unknown room of Afghanistan (aka Pentagon Media group creative department).”
The irony of the matter is that our adventure loving and excited media groups even republished their storiess and gave them further authenticity. The case in point is Dawn etc. I think our media should have deplored such anti Pakistan reporting instead of reporting them by giving credit to their “Special Correspondent”. Scrutiny should be practiced in matter ssuch as these , which could possibly be damaging the image of Paksitan on the Global front.
The high court has finally issued its verdict on dr.qadeer khan’s case . Where the government claims to relax restrictions on Dr.khan by allowing him visits by friends and relatives , Dr.khan and his lawyer showed severe disappointment. Among the list of restrictions imposed is not permitting him to give any interviews to the meida. I belive this part of the verdict will be of benefit for atleast now , as the media has played its role in defaming the country to an extent of it being prone to attack . By misqouting Dr. AQkhan they have not only compromised the stance of country’s intelligance but also national interest . Dr.khan on the other hand insists that he had not diisclosed anything other than what was mentioned in President MUsharaf’s book ,In the line of Fire. He has continuesly denied making nay statements which could be against national interest . I would again like to appeal Dr. A.Q khan to take such media platforms to the court if he was really misquoted to this extent , as this is a severe issue. This will help in setting an example for media platforms to work FOR national interest and not AGAINST it . Dr.khan on the other hand claims that claims of his ‘supposed‘ relaxation is bias as he is not even allowed to pray in a local mosque in front of his house.
While the Western media often dubbed Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan as a “Disgraced” scientist we Pakistani’s considered him our national hero .However the recent statement given by Abdul Qadeer Khan to Geo Channel has a strong potetial to damage Pakistan’s image globally. I do understand his enmity with Musharraf but i fail to understand why he has taken it to a level which can harm our country ,Pakistan. His recent accusations that Pakistan Army and its intelligence agencies were involved in the proliferation of nuclear material to North Korea in exchange for 200 SA 15 missiles is the worst I expected from him. Moreover, anti Musharraf Geo Tv telecasted this interview without having any regard for national interest. It won’t surprise me if I am told that Geo was paid by CIA for conducting this interview and making this information public which will disgrace Pakistan and its military forces. I think it is time that we give a serious thought to the activities of our media and make it accountable for telecasting anti state information.
ISLAMABAD, Pakistan (AP) — The disgraced architect of Pakistan’s nuclear program said Friday that it provided centrifuges to North Korea in a 2000 shipment supervised by the army under President Pervez Musharraf.
Abdul Qadeer Khan, who remains a national hero despite confessing four years ago to heading a clandestine proliferation network, told The Associated Press in a telephone interview that the uranium enrichment equipment was sent from Pakistan in a North Korean plane that was loaded under the supervision of Pakistani security officials. His claims contradict his 2004 confession that he was solely responsible for spreading nuclear technology to Iran, North Korea and Libya — and Pakistan’s repeated denials its army or government knew about Khan’s nuclear proliferation activities. Khan said the army had “complete knowledge” of the shipment of used P-1 centrifuges to North Korea and that it must have been sent with the consent of Musharraf, the then-army chief who took power in a 1999 coup.
“It was a North Korean plane, and the army had complete knowledge about it and the equipment,” Khan said. “It must have gone with his (Musharraf’s) consent.” Khan’s allegations, reported earlier Friday by the Japanese news agency, Kyodo, are his most controversial yet and could prove deeply embarrassing for both the army and Musharraf, a key ally in the U.S.-led war on terror.
