UN Report Condemns Israel for Committing War Crimes - Crimes Against Humanity

by MJK on September 17, 2009

The United Nations has finally completed its report and indicted Israel of committing severe War Crimes and possible Crimes Against Humanity in Israel’s December 27, 2008 through January 18, 2009 attack on Gaza Strip.  The UN Investigation team was headed by Richard Goldstone, a veteran South African war crimes prosecutor, who is also a Jew and has longstanding ties with the State of Israel — he’s a trustee of Jerusalem’s Hebrew University, among other things. The Jewish credentials of the head of the UN Commission ads further credibility to the findings of the report and its recommendations.  According to Jewish newspaper Haartez,  Richard GoldStone said :

“My first wish and hope is that there will be open and full inquiries in Israel, and the ability of Israel to do that, I accept completely has been done before with regard to at least two other inquiries that I know of which were acceptable by international standards. Israel can do it if it wishes, it’s a matter of political will, And if that happens, then of course that would and should avoid any international court involvement”

In case Israel does not conduct any such inquiries into the incidents and punish the culprits, it will be liable to face the International Criminal Court (ICC) in Hague.

The Palestinians welcome the findings of the report even though it also accused them with similar charges.  The case has seriously damaged Israel political standing and its military techniques to conduct operations in civilian areas.  Guarding Newspaper feels the same and even though it agrees to the fact that Israeli strong lobby will reverse the whole case and its allies in Europe and America will never let the recommendations of the report to be implemented, yet it agree that it has serious implications for the international politics. Baluchistan Liberation Army- BLA - Operations and Its International Supporters

by MJK on July 25, 2009

Balochistan Liberation Army - BLA - A Detail Insight: Day 2:

This is the second day of our research into Balochistan Liberaiton Army (BLA). Our first day of research was about

  • BLA Mission, Stated Objectives and Real Objectives
  • BLA - History - How and Who created it!

Today we will see how this organization has expanded and from where it is getting its material, moral and political support.

Day 2:  Operations and Working of Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) and Its Potential Backers in the Region

For any organization like BLA, it is important to have a strong financial system that can support its activities throrugh thick and thin. For the successful operation of BLA, it was necessary to have a strong and sustainable logistical, material, human and financial support system in place. Since KGB was earlier providing all this support in close association with Indian intelligence agency RAW, the new renewed insurgency will require similar backing.

However, this time the list of supporters to BLA has significantly increased. The former enemies i. Russian and Americans have become allies and Indians, Afghans and Israeli’s have joined them as well. The result is a very strong and resourceful network of operatives. Since India has traditionally maintained strong local network in Pakistan, RAW enjoys a strong position among the group of countries hell bent on destabilizing Baluchistan.

Therefore, as we said in our Day 1, an investigative story by News Central Asia, the first batch of planner and trainers constituded two Indians, two American and an Afghan. They quickly did the ground work and set up the first training camp to start the Balochistan insurgency.  According to News CentralAsia story,

“The first camp had some 30 youth and initial classes comprised mainly of indoctrination lectures. The main subjects were:

1. Baloch’s right of independence,
2. The Concept of Greater Balochistan,
3. Sabotage as a tool for political struggle,
4. Tyranny of Punjab and plight of oppressed nations,
5. Media-friendly methods of mass protest.

“Manuals, guidelines and even lecture plans were available in the Kometit [KGB] archives. Except for media interaction, they virtually followed the old plans,” told Sasha, another former KGB agent, who also served in Baluchistan.

These archives were getting dusty  but thanks to American interest in the region and to use Baluchistan as a bargaining chip against Pakistan and Iran, the manuals had to be taken out for their possible use.

rawRole in India’s Domestic Politics. RAW also became a political instrument in internal politics which came to the fore during the infamous ‘emergency period’ under Prime Minister Mrs. Gandhi. RAW was established on Kautilyan principles to undertake clandestine operations in neighboring states to destabilize them.

Tony Benn slams BBC over Gaza Appeal

by Sana Saleem on February 2, 2009

The recent denial of BBC to broadcast Gaza appeal has sent out severe waves of anguish. BBC has been accused of being bias and pressurized by the Israeli Government. Tony Benn a British socialist politician and President of Stop the war coalition registered his protest in a recent interview with the BBC.He further accused the BBC of bowing under Israeli pressure. He then went ahead on broadcasting the appeal himself an clearly protesting the decision against the appeal. One word for the guy BRAVO. We all should learn a lesson from this and register our prtest in whatever way possible. there is no room fr excused specialy when the severity of the matter urges us to protest as much as possible. The gaza appeal continues and we all should do what ever we can to spread the word.

Israel-A Story Untold!

by Asima Awan on January 16, 2009

The world today is an unpeaceful place to live in. We all condemn terrorism, whatever colour, caste or creed we might come from. So why is it so widespread today? One look at the background of some of the prevalent ’radical’ belief systems might explain. There are two kinds of ‘terrorism’ in the world today: one is the US-protected terrorism and the other is the not-US-protected terrorism. Even the people of US are not widely in favour of the US-protected terrorism but they are all hostages. Their tax money is being used to serve Israel’s purposes. Why does a small country like Israel dictate US’s foreign policy? The question leads us to the history of some of these radical beliefs. [click to continue...]

King Abdullah a disgrace?

by Sana Saleem on January 15, 2009

*DISCLAIMER*

This could appear to be very blasphemous for those who dont believe in the fact that respect lies in a persons character  and not determined by Power specially the kind which is ‘inherited’.

d07624_3With the death toll in Gaza almost over 1000 it is indeed shameful that the Muslim world is yet to take a unanimous stance. While civilian territories are bombarded causing heavy loss of life the Muslim world only has its mumble jumble. In all the catastrophe all I want to say is ‘SHAME ON US’ a big fat blot of SHAME. The loss of innocent life has been deemed worthless by our shameful silence. So in this shamelessness I might as well pardon myself a little blasphemy. When anyone thinks of Islam and Muslims the criteria of Tauheed (Monotheism) comes foremost. With Muslims and Islam comes images of the Ka’aba representing the symbol of unity and faith of Muslims globally. It must be a sacred land we are told and with it comes responsibilities. Exactly the term RESPONSIBILITIES, whether we like it or not . Perhaps liking is not a question for someone who stands with his head high claiming to be the ‘ CUSTODIAN of the Holy mosques’ or perhaps ‘ Khademeen Harmian Sharifain’ is a better term.

Voices from Gaza :In remembrance of Rachel Corrie

by Sana Saleem on January 14, 2009

Rachel CorrieIts hard to fathom how memoirs from the past can have such drastic effects. Back in 2003 while I stood ashamed of certain things there was indeed an incident that still makes ones heart swell with pride. Ironic it is to imagine how life can teach you through its odd ways. While the so called leader of my country was busy ‘recognizing ‘ Israel Rachel Corrie embraced martyrdom. Rachel Corrie was crushed while she stood as a human sheild to protect a Palestinian hme from being bulldozed.

Following is a letter of Condolence written by Sheikh Hamza Yusuf Hanson to the Parents of Rachel corrie.

P.S: I find this to be the best possible way to remember her today and forever.

British MP George Galloway Speech on Holocaust in Gaza

by MJK on January 12, 2009

The Western world rarley gets such leaders but George Galloway has proved that despite his very vocal opposition to the atrocities committed by Israel, he is still not harmed by the so called Jewish lobby. I think other politicians need to learn from him. A truly remarkable personality.
