Majority of us use dictionaries in our day to day life to check the meaning of new words that we encounter in our day to day life. Being a Pakistani, English to English dictionaries often confuse us since the meaning of a word might itself be require another search of itself. In such cases, English to Urdu or Urdu to English dictionary can come in handy to solve our problem. However, that lead us to a second dilemma of carrying a big and heavy dictionary in our pocket that contain approx 200,000 plus words.
Now you don’t have to worry about this problem any more since i recently did some search and found out about this amazing Pakistani dictionary site titled “UrduEnglishDictionary.Org”.

Ufone has finally done away with its old website and came out with a newly designed website. The new website of Ufone is such that most of the options are laid on the front page and hence customers and visitors can easily browse through various pages. The front page also contains banner ads of various Ufone offerings.
The interesting factor about the new site is that it has brought a lot of focus on Value Added Services offered by Ufone. In the previous website of Ufone, customer had to search for Mobile Games, Top Videos and Wallpapers while in their new website, Ufone has brought all those offerings to the front page to give them more visibility. It will surely add to the existing revenues from the VAS. The new website also offers Live Chat Support to its postpaid subscribers on its website. I wonder why they can not extend these services to Prepaid subscribers as well?

I have been searching for long about the progress of Pakistani gaming industry. Didn’t have much success , but found Shah-Soft.com one of the Pakistani based game developers on the web. I will be over a period of time bring down all the game developers in Pakistan to Pro-Pakistan.
About Shah-soft: its a very casual small development house , where simple fun and addictive games are made. While emphasis is on the basic aspects like graphics, gameplay, Sound , but special preferece is given to AI and fun which would make the games more additive.

Being a blogger, i am sure everyone is well aware of the wordpress engine as almost 5317360 bloggers are using it to run their blog sites. Even TechNama is powered by WordPress engine and we are very much satisfied with their services. Recently, i came across a news at TechCrunch that Wordpress has been facing a serious security threat to its older versions and hence all users should immediately update their current version to any version above 2.8.4 since all versions uptil 2.8.4 are vulnerable to the said security threat.
Things that you should know about this attack are following as per lorelle:
1. Reports are that this attack impacts ALL versions of WordPress up to 2.8.4, the most recent release.

I regularly visit the online news websites and they have different layouts and styles. Some of the websites concentrate on filling the front page with loads of stories and updates while others concentrate on style and flashy designs. Few are quick to open while others are bulky and takes alot of time to completely open. However, one website is truly distinguished from others and their lust for ads is very much evident on the front page of their website. I am sure you can guess it if you follow the webpages of Pakistani newspapers. Yes…i am talking about Jang Group.
I am sure every web master and site owner loves to get as much ads as possible but at the same time, they have to keep a balance between the actual content and the number of ads displayed on the site. I have just taken a screen shot of Jang Group front page to share my agony with our readers and to hear their opinion as well. The front page of Jang Group has now started frustrating me and i am sure it is the case with majority of its readers. I wonder if anyone from Jang Group will ever come forward to show our blog post to their concerned people and decrease the number of ads on their front page. This will make it more attractive for its readers as well as increase the attractiveness of the few ads on display.

14th August, Pakistan’s Independence day in Fast Approaching. Ufone has launched Pakistan first Blackberry Apps Store to provide wide variety of apps to its customers. This is something that was long awaited and i was wondering why no opeartive was taking this initiative? Anyways, Ufone took the initiative and i am sure it will positively contribute towards its image as a market innovator brand.
