The birth of a caliphate seems to be where Pakistan is headed over the next couple of years. This article focusses on the most likely aftermath of the US war of terror. It’s not a najoomi prediction but just a glimpse at a situation that might arise given recent world events over the last 15 years.

When the US leaves Afghanistan after the dollar collapses, the durand line will be erased and the newspapers will say that the taleban are now demanding caliphate. The maps are now redrawn with Afghanistan joining the umbrella of Pakistan. This will also be a profound symbolic change since the map will no longer be shaped like a dog. At that time Nawaz Sharif will be in power. At this point the situation in Pakistan will be its most fragile since the Afghan war began, but now people will be gripped by excitement and hope due to the conclusion of the Afghan war. Pakistan will declare victory and lay claim to defeating the US superpower. This will be a time of great hope, confusion and expectation and people will be demanding change to the old systems.

Due to popular demand at that time the country changes its name from Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Islamic Caliphate of Pakistan. Nawaz Sharif abolishes the PM post and declares himself as Ameer-ul-Momineen but will not give himself lifetime rule since this will be a modern democratic khilafa. At this stage the missing persons are returned to Pakistan as national heroes and will be awarded medals. Some brilliant minds like Dr.Aafia will now take up key positions in the politics of the new khilafa to advise on how the new khilafa system should be run and devised. This democratic khilafa will replace the old system but most government departments will stay the same. PPP will dissolve by this stage and Musharraf will form his own opposition enlightened moderation party as the far-left merging with remnants of PPP and will stand in opposition to Nawaz Sharif’s government which will be the balanced one. The Islamist parties will merge with any remnants of taleban leadership to become the far-right opposition block and will keep on preaching to include more fundamentalist philosophies in the new constitution but they aren’t likely to be very popular. The consitution will be renamed to ‘sharia’. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will expand across to Pashtun parts of Afghanistan to include Kandahar and Kabul. The non-pashtun parts of Afghanistan will be turned into seperate provinces or even seperated to other border countries. Balochistan will stay part of Pakistan but there might be some border changes with Iran since Iran will at this stage likely expand to include some Shia parts of Iraq and maybe some parts of Balochistan might be traded with Pakistan when the Pakistan and Iran maps are redrawn. Pakistan’s nuclear capability will still be intact at this stage, infact the Nukes will only be taken from us later on when we hand them over ourselves as part of a worldwide nuclear disarmament campaign.

This will be the most major turning point in the history of Pakistan and the World. Prior to this, an alliance of Turkey and some Arab countries are likely attack Israel over the future flotilla’s being attacked. At this stage Israel will also redraw its maps by giving a crushing defeat to the TurkoEgyptian alliance. Therefore Israel will form a new kingdom spreading itself from the Nile to the Euphrates. This will form another major middle eastern empire in the west of Pakistan. The Democratic Khilafa of Pakistan and Kingdom of Israel will live in a state of mutual cooperation and peace. Thus, we will see the emergence of a new political dynamic in the middle east. Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria and Iraq will now be part of the new Kingdom of Israel but Iran and Saudi Arabia will retain independence. The palestinian issue will automatically get solved through the new one state solution. Saudi Arabia will still be the center of the Muslim world due to the Holy Kaaba but Pakistan will manage to create a democratically viable modern Khilafa system by mixing modern secular democracy and Islamic Khilafa concepts. Infact the king of Saudi Arabia might even get assigned the post of Khalifa while the Ameer-ul-Momineen position based in Islamabad will be serving like a viceroy, similar to the old British Empire having a Queen and viceroys.

Personally, apart from the good news that Afghanistan and Pakistan will finally see Peace and start getting rebuilt, I don’t think this khilafa will lead to any dramatic changes to the Pakistani state systems and operations. Things are likely to improve on the economic side and the new caliphate system will be given alot of UN aid and loans for rebuilding Afghanistan to replace things like replacing the hundreds of girls schools destroyed by Taleban and Madrassas destroyed by US which will all now be replaced by modern enlightened moderation schools to educate the new youth in Democratic Khilafa concepts.

In summary, we can expect a great future for Pakistan due to improvement in law & order, political and social upheaval, initial reconstruction funds, then Gwader, Rikodik and other resource extraction projects including alot of energy based projects will be a basis of great wealth being injected into this new system and an exciting political process. These events are likely to culminate before or around December 2012 and is the great profound emotional shift that the new agers are prophecising about 2012 these days.

A confusing article for me. With the war on terror continuing it doesn’t really seem this will happen in the next upcoming years. The Khilafa moderation is a good idea but that cannot be materialized unless we are rid of Taliban. Government instability is just an after effect of the terrorist propagandas. Once you have no terrorism in the country, things will smoothen on their own.

war is confusing :) Think about how maps changed after WW1 & WW2…new systems and empires emerged. I just wrote this ‘cos no one will believe it at this stage but it is how I think the situation is likely to be in 2.5 yrs given maneuverings. I’ve tried not to make it political or criticize anyone so its just a light hearted look ahead at the final result without getting caught up in the propaganda. I do think some type of system will emerge after this war that will call itself a caliphate instead of republic and I don’t think this will be anything like a real caliphate but more like a measure done to qwell the taleban because thats how the taleban will dissappear. This is the ‘recent negotiations’ they’re probably talking about that will end up in this sort of agreement….i’m going to stop now this is just a light hearted look ahead, not an endorsement for this caliphate system that might emerge. As I said apart from the peace and reconstruction doing this sort of thing would not have any real impact on society apart from the fact that it would shut up those taleban demanding caliphate to be brutally honest.
