Pakistani Dream! What is yours?

The Centaurus, a developmental project under construction in blue area Islamabad. A project of Pak Gulf Construction, acquiring about 300,000 Sq ft of land. Atkins designs the complex.

This $350 million complex is planned to have a seven star hotel, along with two twenty one- story residential buildings. A twenty five- story corporate office and a five- story shopping mall.

It is believed that this Centaurus will be a representative sign for Pakistan, just as statue of liberty for U.S. It is an appreciable step indeed towards establishing a rapport of Pakistan in the world, but still the solution is temporary.

We have adopted the insight behind “Statue of Liberty” but never thought about adopting the “American dream.” What was that American dream which was forwarded by Martin Luther King Jr.

Was that something like Iqbal’s vision?

To clear you people on this, the term was first used by “James Truslow Adams” in his book “The Epic of America”. In its real essence, as far as views of pre-signed are concerned; “The American Dream is the dream of such a land, where, there is no discrimination on the basis of caste, sect or color, where opportunity for anyone is according to ability and where social interests are considered before making any decision.
It cannot be termed as the dream of technological advancement but the advancement of human ethics. This dream follows a society where any one can be honored and esteemed on the basis of his achievement, not on the basis of fortuitous circumstances of sect, caste, color or place of birth.

This dream, indeed, portrays a society where there is no social injustice, unethical behaviors, immorality and prejudice.”

Now recall! What is Pakistani dream?

U wont be able to recall anything other than,

“PAKISTAN KA MATLAB KYA? LA ILAHA ILLALLAH” … MUHAMMAD- AR RASOOL-ALLAH

We never even tried to extract the meaning of these slogans.
