Terror struck again yesterday at a volleyball ground in the southern district of N.W.F.P ,   Lakki Marwat. Recent reports confirms death toll of 94 people and hundred injured. New year celebrations were marked with the first suicide blast of the year in the ill fated village of N.W.F.P.

N.W.F.P have been the main affected province of the so called War on Terror. Other provinces may have been the target but the majority brunt was sustained by N.W.F.P.  Of  the total 150 bomb blasts and 81 suicide bombings, 51 suicide bombings and 84 bomb blasts occurred in Frontier Province.

In spite  of so many bombing and damages to public lives and property, nothing has been done by the federal government to cope for the damages sustained by the province.  Instead the federal government has allotted 2 billion ruppees to  Sindh Government to cope for the damages caused by the bombing and loot on 10th of Muharram. What happened to N.W.F.P? Where is our share of money to compensate for the lives and property for the last 4 years? Why isn’t the hue and cry of the people  heard to declare N.W.F.P as a war affected province? Where is our share? What happened to the sacrifice of people of SWAT who spent 2 months in tents in this scorching heat of summer. Why are we being negated?

These actions creates anger and frustration within the people and the same situation is exploited by the foreign enemies and the result is what you are  seeing now in Pakistan. Its because of the injustice that creates agony among people against the government.  There is an uprising in  Balochistan. The same situation is happening in N.W.F.P. Why because the rights of the people are being negated. If such actions continue to take place, i am afraid the situation may worsen in the near future.

Initially this war was infuriated to cope for the American demand to become there ally and fight there war else “they would bomb us back to stone age”….. we lost our sovereignty the day we agreed up to there demands. This war aggravated the situation and now look at whats going on around…… nothing but bloodshed

@ Hamza—You should know better to ask, whom about Your Share..What are the responsibilities of Nwfp civilian Govt.(Mr. Biloor) ?Who give authority to launch operations in Tribal areas ,they suppose to compensate.(Rah-e-Nijaat).?Who shares information & provide TIPS regarding drone attacks ?One More thing I want to tell, people are now use to of such accidents ,bcz our hearts got black (bcz of Not paying zakat),we lost our attitudes of kindness,we are runing after money.we forget our basic Islamic studies,we are not united.I would like to read an article in near future written by You on topic “Role Of Pak. Generals In USSR Invasion to Afghanistan”.which will help us to determine that who is more responsible of current situation in pakistan regardless of baseless Propaganda.

The recent NFC does declare N.W.F.P as war affected province and 1% of the revenue tax from all provinces will be given to N.W.F.P, this may not be enough but should be taken as symbol of provincial integration. The security needs to be beefed up as the enemies of state have no moral or ethics for they will shed blood of innocent citizens
@Msk! Yes there are still people who have the nerve to call this war as a “so-called war on terror”, one wonders what miracle will open their eyes!

First of all i would like to clear the fact that i am not a supporter of any political party. Coming to your question, the war was not started on Frontier government demand, it was a direct order from the prime minister. Instead ANP succeeded in a peace deal but it was a failure. What i am trying to explain here is that why N.W.F.P was not decalred as a war affected province and why N.W.F.P was not given lump sum of money by the Federal Goverment to compensate for the losses. One fire in Karachi market, and the federal goverment is throwing billions for compensation. The amount of damage in meena baazar blast was far worse….. what happened there?????

At least this is a step towards the provincial integration. One must be clear that this is just the first step to a long journey and inshallah Pakistan will reach there and security also must be buffed up as we realize that militants have no set agenda and they will shed innocent blood almost anywhere.
