The country is being looked after bureaucracy right now and there seems no sign of governance in the country; its chaos and haphazard decisions, with no vision is the ultimate policy of this government. Zulfiqar Mirza threatened to break the country at the time of BB’s death; well Mr. Mirza I am sure that people of Sind are neither brainless nor drunk cowards like you; neither do they love power as much as you and nor do they behave like a villain. I don’t understand that why out of nowhere such comments and statements are being made by these good for nothing politicians; do they only see their self-interests? Do they not realize that such statements are going to further degrade the country’s image? Is it all what they can think about? And whether, these statements are only being made, to save one man, sitting in presidency. Pakistan People’s Party has been in power for almost two years now, and they have failed to find the assassins of BB; and I question why? The very simple reason I see here is that PPP is so much in love with power that they forgot to inquire about the assassins, the party is so much occupied in yelling about the conspiracies against them; the party is too busy in corruption and not to forget that Mr. Zardari is too busy buying land in Islamabad. Plus one thing that a lot of people have said after BB’s death is that why would the person probe, if he is the biggest gainer of BB’s death! Just because Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Benazir were assassinated therefore their leftovers think that they have the right to rule and because they have sacrificed enough for the country? Then what about the millions of people who lost their loved ones for making of this country? What about the innocent people that sacrifice their loved ones every day in suicide bombing? This country was not made to be ruled by some leftover minions. It was extremely disappointing to hear our President speak on the second death anniversary of BB in which he could not even pronounce words properly; and I could not comprehend the fact that why was he shout at the top of his lungs and trying to prove himself as ‘innocent’; I wonder for whom is the innocence for? A lot of analysts were of the view that the speech had a lot of threats for the military circles. Most of the people missed the fact that President shamelessly ranted how he is responsible for all “good” deeds that led to democracy flourish in the country but he forgot how the masses are suffering from his government’s policies; in fact as I have said it so many times that the government has no policy; therefore it should be, how the masses are suffering from the IMF program. A lot of people claim that had BB been alive; this would never had been the condition of the country; perhaps I will agree to some extent on this but the fact that PPP has always been marked with corruption cannot be denied and close aides of BB have always mentioned the fact that BB tried to distant her husband from politics as they always projected a bad imagine; I guess BB knew Mr. Asif’s personality too well, by now. The funny part of PPP’s politics is that instead of keeping BB’s vision alive they have jumped in the hands of an amateur politician who they made the president. And well perhaps Mr. Zardari should think twice when he claims to be an elected president by masses because he was elected by his own minions in the parliament; trust me if Mr. Zardari had come to masses for vote I highly doubt that he would had won his seat, fair and square. I know many of you will argue the fact that those PPP parliamentarians were elected by the nation; but remember the nation did not know Mr. Zardari will propose himself as the president of the country. I wonder where BB is alive. At least not in the hearts; policies and vision of the party! She is only alive in the speeches and tall claims of the party. Keeping a portrait of BB before you speak is something not that is going to make her live; the hypocrisy and mockery of BB and her party is something from which every other party of Pakistan should learn because; our politicians have made their parties a slave of their own. Whether Mian Nawaz Sharif, Imran Khan, Altaf Hussain or Asfandyar Wali; these parties lack democracy and self-discipline; so what should we expect from them; if this system is going to be a one man show then I think we should prefer a Presidential system of governance then a parliamentarian system of government. you got it wrong janab, BB is indeed alive that is why we are seeing repetition of corruption from PPP. The only difference BBs being alive would make is that PPP would be better defending itself in media since ZAB family is good at orating and public dealings.
a loss of great individual from Pakistan. A victim of terrorism. Her life is as important as the life of evry individual that is lost yesterday in the Karachi blast. We should stand against extremism and finish off this blast tactic that has been given birth.
Dear every one know that in the murderd of Benazir American are involves, so how zardare and PPP investigate, if they do so then thier gov will be finished.
Yes a loss of great individual from Pakistan. She was great lady…
I am amazed by the fact when an authoritarian dictator take over he is given 3 straight as a launch pad and it’s not until 7-8 years when we start question when will democracy return!! We have seen it in the case of all three Auyb,Zia and Mussharaf. However in a democratic regime we would start whining right after two years as if they came with a magical wand!! *kaboom* no poverty, *kaboom* peace. Please let sanity prevail for now ……
Ammar….To some extent I agree with you but there should be a mechanism to eradicate the corruption and nepotism from our society otherwise we’ll never prosper.
First and foremost, people who have abused their position should be brought to justice, no one should consider him/her above the law, corrupt people should not be allowed to hold public office, everyone should have freedom of expression and religion, free education for everyone, no one should be judged based on his/her creed, color or cast.
According to new study on genes, scientists are of opine that corruption, use of alcohol/drug,heart disease, cancer are prevails in our genes which we inheriated from our parents. Also people who have same faces or resembles, have same characteristics.
refer to above study, I want to highlight that we should’nt have much expectations from the creed of our Leaders bcz they are the 2nd & in some cases 3rd generation of the old leaders of our country, ironicaly 90% were corrupt so their new generation must be corrupt which is indeed.
Actually, our leaders have choosen their destiny by themselves i.e “Accidental Shahadut” not much difference than “sucide death”.They are not doing any thing to make any difference in common man’s life, day by day situation is getting worse.Their fate is very clear written on their forehead.

@Aamir I am in no way advocating for legalizing corruption, I concur that we need elaborate system for accountability as the current system is neither fair to the people not the alleged culprits as their cases remains unsolved for decades
