This heat in the political scenario has started after the judgment on NRO. Not to forget here that it is these same politicians who left NRO on the mercy of Supreme Court, because the politicians lacked decision making, were scared to come out and make a decision. I wonder what sort of leaders are they when they cannot make one decision on an ordinance; how can we expect them to make larger than life decisions for this nation then. All these leaders can think of is Foreign Aid, increasing tariffs and protecting American interests. It is surprising how the nation’s attention is being diverted from an increase in power tariff. On the other end son of Ms. Fouzia Wahab; Ali Wahab Siddiqui has been found guilty of threatening the Editor Investigation of The News – Mr. Ansar Abbasi; which goes on to show the discussion being carried out in the house of Ms. Fouzia Wahab. It is good to see that the true picture of PPP is being revealed. On the other side in a convocation ceremony at a Faisalabad university, special oath was taken from students that no student will refuse to take the gold medal and other certificates from Governor Punjab - Salman Taseer, and if a student refuses to accept the award from Governor, then the not only the gold medal but also the degree of the student will be repealed. Nice way to control the freedom of expression and we thought its democracy in our country! PPP has gripped power like a little child holding on to a toy and being over possessive about it, I wonder what will they do of so much power if they can’t get respect from public institutes and masses. The fight between media especially Jang group and government has broken out and I just want to remind the government that previously in late 90’s Mian Nawaz Sharif took on Jang group, result was in front of you, Pervez Musharraf with all his might did everything, he even went on to an extent that told companies not to give advertisements to Geo and the result is in front of us. The government instead of focusing on eliminating corruption, talking to other Muslim countries in building pressure on Taliban to give up its activities; is busy talking to Dubai government for banning talk shows. Though I don’t want to make any conspiracy theory here but it’s funny how a day after government’s backlash on media, we had a suicide blast at the Peshawar press club, the impression that is being portrayed here is that Terrorists and government both are after media, I guess they both think alike. Unfortunately this country is marked with individualists, having huge egos, ruining the country. Every name is marked with an incident or era of shame whether Ayub Khan, Yahya Khan, Zia-ul-Haq, Ghulam Ishaq Khan, Benazir Bhutto, Nawaz Sharif or Altaf Hussain. It is these and a few other individuals that have played havoc with the fate of this country, its institutes and the entire system. It is a weird government that claims conspiracies are being hatched against it and they can’t stop it, then how can they make decisions for this nation! No wonder, our politicians have broken all the records of being shameless, selfish and characterless. Media is doing an excellent job by creating awareness in the society and standing up for the rights of general population of Pakistan….I request all the media personnel to keep up the fight and do not get intimidated from cheap tactics of current government.
well done by our media,specially, Dr.Shahid, Mr.Kamran,Mr.shaheen sehbai, and Mr.Ansar Abbasi, about last few years the looters are comming in the shape of politicians, they have millions dollars looted from the poor nation, looted from countary, and then they planned that how can after lootiang the national wealth maintain own image as a painful leader of the national, for this aspect they purchased greedy low mental writters,local newspapers auditor,kept a gang of those who guided them,now clearly the inners are comes in the shape of Mr.Riaz Raja,views,seeing their confidence ,they looted approximately 2 to 6 billions dollars ,(corrupt generals, bearecrates are in the list)imagin,who are sending the national in darknesses,if only 5% amount from the looted money they spent on education then we easily able to compete the opponents specially in crusade launched by the enimies of Islam again whole ummah,Mr.Raja Riaz and their collegues doing efforts to save the nation criminals but we hope the process are now started and if they don’t deposited looted money in fruitfull and ease manner as ordered by CS than a bloody revulation are stand on the head of all corrupts and looters leaders of this countary and then history make there own decision,my appeal to all looters and corrupt elements to pleae contact with God, who are very merciful, who forget your all sins,if you contacted with purify heart and please be see the poors of the national they are facing very, very , very and very hardship due to your attitude.My message for true writters are please recite surah yaseen daily basis,the time is fixed by God of death of every person ,don’t afraid from looters the whole national and specially the literaly personalties are stand with us,and in every step when you shall needed any kind of help the national will provide you,Inshahlalatal, they looters reached their ends soonestly.
Gen Musharaf is not in the good books these days, but FREE PRESS and MEDIA is his biggest contribution to Pakistan, which eventually led to his removal as well.
Politicians/Government should realise by now that they can’t dictate or align media in their favour. The only way they can turn media in their favor is by doing their level best for the people of Pakistan - otherwise they will be sorted out - just like they are being sorted out now.
What a baloney, if these gentlemen are being labeled as the Israeli spy agents and they were assigned to “destabilize the government and pit the institutions of the country against one another” then why didn’t the current government took action against these people. Why after almost two years the super genius elements in PPP government suddenly realized that these gentlemen poses a danger to Pakistan stability. PPP government is digging its own grave by making such a stupid statements.
I salute these fine gentlemen who are risking their lives to expose the true faces of corrupt politicians. Please continue the fight, we support your cause.
