Who killed our children, brothers and fathers?

4-12-2009 Friday, 13:48 Pakistan Standard Time; a group of animals wearing human masks entered a mosque in Parade lane; situated in the heart of Cantonment; Rawalpindi. The harmless, innocent kids, young people along with elderly men were ready to bow their head in front of God; less did they know what those animals were after!

One after the other; they brutally shot and threw grenade at them; shameless terrorists killed our children, brothers and fathers, but I question who were they? Where did they come from? Who motivated them? Who funded them? Who helped them in identifying this place? Why would they do something like this in a mosque?

Well there has been a lot of debate that it is being done by Taliban’s or Al-Qaeda or a very few say that India is behind it and some say Israel! Well no one has been able to solve the mystery but just as others have put forth their opinion I would like to look at it from an angle that only has been discussed in the drawing rooms so far and not officially.

I believe India is behind all this; there are a number of reasons for me to say so. Indians have always been our rivals whatever the case may be; whether it was the acceptance of Pakistan in 1947 or it was the East-Pakistan debacle or till date the Kashmir issue. Some way or the other they have always tried to hurt us; in recent times through creating water crisis for our crops.

I wonder what has been the need of 12 to 14 Indian consulates in Afghanistan; whereas India is not even the neighboring country of Afghanistan. According to an estimate India has invested around $ 1 billion in Afghanistan’s infrastructure and rebuilding. In the recent on-going operation at South-Waziristan; Indian drugs, literature and weapon have been founded; a lot of so-called Talibans have been found to come from India.

Above all if you closely analyze the sequence of suicide bomb blasts; they have seem to destroy our economic hubs and military installations; and not to forget the Sri-Lankan cricket team in Lahore. It is hard for me to believe that a bunch of Taliban with not enough funding to last for six months can hold on to Pakistan for more than 5 years. The important thing to notice here is that what motivates these Talibans to hurt Pakistan and Pakistanis?

Are we not Muslims? Are we hurting or damaging Islam? What wrong are we doing for which they are trying to punish us? It is not only because we supported Americans on their War on Terror and in case if they are such bigger American enemies then why not do the rage a war on Israel? Why there is so much peace and calm their? If they are such bigger Islam defenders then why don’t they commit suicide bombings in India where thousands of Muslims are burnt every year, where Quran has been martyred several times, where Babri Mosque has been martyred? Where are these Talibans then? Why don’t they rage a war their? Are they too scared that their funding will be stopped by the Indians!

Israel and India both have severely hurt Islam and yet these so-called Islam savers are nowhere to be seen there.

Most people put forth a counter argument that these people are being exploited because they are poor and there is lack of education in the areas where they are coming from. Well if we talk about poverty line and poor country then there should be numerous suicide blasts in Bangladesh or in India itself because the poverty there is unimaginable; and poverty is everywhere in the world and that does not mean that they start getting exploited against their own country.

I have never been in favor of Pakistan-America partnership as it always has hurt Pakistanis one way or the other but Saudi Arabia; where every Muslim looks to; is one of the biggest American allies then why there is no suicide bombing against the royal family there?

After Pakistan became the first ever Muslim nuclear state; the things have not been made easy for us. The very reason that Indian’s nuclear tests in 1997 were a failure; the recent ballistic missile test done by India was a failure and not to forget the malfunctioning of Indian nuclear plant has cast shadows and fears in their own hearts. Indian knows that there is no way Pakistan can be destroyed for which they have exploited the name of our religion.

Over the years I can name atrocities and Indian efforts to destabilize Pakistan; but they all have been unsuccessful; Indians have always feared Pakistan. I wonder what the need for India was in 1997 to perform nuclear tests; why the Indians have always been a catalyst in raising the temperatures in the area.

There is only one motivated force behind all this and that is India-Israel lobby; the entire world knows that Pakistanis are emotional, fearless and ruthless nation; and being an Islamic country they fear no one other then God; these factors haunt Americans and Indians.

The sad part is that today as our children, brothers and fathers are being martyred we sit in front of television sets and enjoy Indians dramas; Indian movies and so much so that the Indian cinema has taken over the Pakistani movie market and they are earning money from us! Extracting all they can from us and then using it against us!

There is so much charm for Indians in the current so called war on terror because Indian ammunition companies are making money as the weapons are being sold and provided by these companies; Pakistani companies competing against Indian companies in the international markets are suffering due to security risks; no investor wants to come to Pakistan and above all the loss to the integration of Pakistan and developing a fear that Pakistan cannot protect its nuclear arsenal will all benefit India!

Well I certainly do not expect anything from our politicians as they have always proved to be cheap sell-outs but I do expect from my nation to rise from this time of crisis; stand as a nation and say no to each and everything that comes from India; whether in the form of a movie, a song or a drama! And pressurize our government to come out and say that, ‘It is India that is killing our children, brothers and fathers!’
