‘So it begins’ operation Rah-i-Nijat in South Waziristan against foreign backed terrorists ‘ Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan’ TTP. So lets get down to the business and give you the overview of this new battle against evil and show you how both the parties stack against each other. Army Troops : Approximately 30,000 soldiers were taking part in the operation, which is a combination of ground offensive and aerial strikes. Aerial strikes include fighter jets, gunship helicopters and aerial surveillance vehicles. While the foot soldiers are supported by heavy Armour and artillery. Tehreek-e-Taliban (South Waziristan): The estimated number of hardcore religious extremists and militants in South Waziristan was 10,000. The number includes 1,000 to 1500 foreign militants, most of them Uzbek. Besides, border with Afghanistan allows them reinforcements (Afghans, Uzbeks, and in some cases Gurkhas) and not to mention arms and ammunition from all the anti-Pakistan sources.Terrorists main weapons would be ambushes, improvised explosive devices (IEDs), road-side and bombings.
Day 1 - 17th October 2009- Report: Army Casualties: 2 Soldiers (martyred) Terrorists Eliminated: 11-15 (unconfirmed number as the Jets pounded their bases and numbers could not be confirmed). Day 2 - 18th October 2009- Report: Security forces claimed taking control on Spankai and Ghazai areas of South Waziristan Agency (SWA) while PAF’s fighter jets pounded militants’ positions, killing 12 terrorists and demolishing several hideouts during the ongoing military operation late on Saturday. During last 24 hours, 60 terrorists have been killed in operation Rah-e-Nijat while 5 security men lost their lives and 11 were wounded, said ISPR in a news release here Sunday Day 3 - 19th October 2009- Report: During last 24 hours, 18 terrorists have been killed in operation Rah-e-Nijat. 4th November 2009 - Report: Since the operation started here are the casualties on both sides Terrorists Killed: 370 Pak Soldiers Martyred: 45 The above stats are provided by ISPR as there is very little pressence of Media reporters.

Brother Usman, very well said but we cannot break the begging bowel until and unless we rid country from corrupt & self-centered politicians. Iran has already put the blame on Pakistan for recent suicide attack in their country. Just wait and watch, I’m sure this incident will open up another front for Pakistan.
Here I would like to share with your good selves that I saw a news in today Daily “Mashriq” in which it was written that Capital Police arrested some American equipped were moving in form of Afghan Refugees. Capital kept them in their custody for only an hour, but due to pressure from Interiou Ministry Capital Police let them release.
On one side the Government started operation in South Wasziristan and on the other hand it give free hand to the terrorism in our capital city.
What is it meant?
I do not know what our Government want?
If they are sincere in geting rid from terrorism/ to eliminate terrorism from our Beloved Country then why they pressurise our Security Agency for unlawful act?

Pakistan Army Zinda Baad. We are with our Proud Army. May Allah give us peace. Self centered politicians playing propaganda. We as a nation are a loving people and are united when something hits on our country big. Like the earthquake example when the country was in trouble we all were united. We need to do this again guys I think. If we are united and speak as one our voice will be InshAllah heard. We are loving people and this land is not for terrorists.
we salute to our army for starting this operation and making it a success. The extremism in Pakistan must be finished so that Pakistan can grow as a country. If this element remains and the terrorists keep doing these bomb blasts the economy will be affected in the worst manner and to recover will be almost impossible so we should praise our army as to clean swipe Taliban and Al-qaeeda from the roots for a better tomorrow.
I hate when our people, factionaly put blame on every wrong doing pervaling in society on Islam Lovers.For God sake stop blaming these poor innocent people,Majority of these people belongs from poor & lower middle class families.I can’t figure out ,how these people are living their lives,how they are able to manage day to day expenses,how they survive in such price hike events,how they eat only ONE-time a day meal.
Just think & compare between these poor people and Benefecaries of NRO,corrupt beruacrates ,corrupt officals on all levels in Govt.
If some body raises his voice against In- Justice or carry weapon he termed as Terrorist.Who made him terrorist ? Where is Our Respected Ch. Justice Ch. Iftikhar Sahib.What You did to the murderers of 12th.may.?Only poor people lost their lives bcz their Life is also CHEAP as they himself are CHEAP.
No politician cares about these people,they just come in power by their Votes after that they forget all the promises they made,this is the reason we expereinced brutal deaths of our politicians & their family members.
