Only 19 years old, averaging 75 - and already seems to be the best batsman in the Pakistan batting line-up (at least judging by the way he played again WI in tricky situation and handling Murli & Mendis at ease in Srilanka) is nothing more than a sigh of relief for the Pakistan Fans. Has Pakistan finally found a young quality batsman? Traditionally Pakistan seems to be finding only quality fast bowlers, so Umar Akmal seems a rarity and with Yousaf and Misbah in the twighlight of their career - all is looking good for Akmal and Alam to be the next generation of Pakistani Batsmen. I See him twice batting. His confidence shows that he will be great Cricketer of the time. He is still a young but seems to be a mature player. Best of luck for him.

umar akram is a future of pakistan cricket.i strongly belieave that umar can break all reconrd of tendulkar.becon both started there criackt in the age of 16,17.and tendulkar is still playing best cricdkt.
