Pakistan Qualify For Golf World Cup

Mubarakaaaan, Pakistani Golf team has created history by qualifying for World Golf Championship by finishing in the top 3 of the Asian Qualifiers.  The whole nation is proud of the duo of Muhammad Shabbir and Muhammad Munir, who played outstanding golf to finish above the rest of the teams in the process elevating Pakistan to its first ever World Golf championship appearance.

Pakistan have played in the cricket World Cup, hockey World Cup and squash World Cup but never before in our history that we’ve been in golf’s World Cup. We showed that we are in there for the first time and hopefully we will be able to perform well in China (Munir)

National golf officials were delighted after learning about their golfers’ achievement. General Ashfaq Parvez Kiani, the Pakistan Golf Federation president, congratulated the players over their excellent performance. Taimur Hassan, the PGF secretary, said Shabbir and Munir have earned a morale-boosting result for Pakistan golf.
