Thought I have seen it all, just when one thought there was going to be some sort of goodwill created , BJP has booted Jaswant Sigh out of the party (Primary membership is seized), over the recent book released ‘Jinnah - Parition, India , Independence’. The BJP president Rajnath Singh told reporters in Shimla that his party’s parliamentary board decided to expel Singh from the primary membership of the party. Conservative members of the right-wing BJP have slammed the publication, and had mounted a campaign to ostracize Singh, trashing the BJP with epithets such as the ‘Bhartiya Jinnah Party.’ Related Articles |

Jinnah saab marne ke baad bhi India ko pareshan kar rahe hai. RIP Jinnah
i agree with BJP’s decision …… If Jinnah sahab was a great Indian and a secular why did he create a Islamic state. He went for a Islamic state and said hindus/christians are welcome …… How can other minorities live in Islamic state.
So, this proves there are no human rights and freedom of expression in India. Whatever BJP (responsible for killings of thousands of Muslims, Christians and other minorities) says, Jinnah still lives in men’s hearts and still remains a great leader.
I have yet to read the book by Jaswant Singh so I cannot say much about the book. But by sacking him BJP has proved that India is far from the state it portrays itself to be. There is still too much hatred, there is still no freedom of expression. I respect Jaswant Singh for standing up to his own nation.
Mr Jinnah is a great freedom fighter and we should all acknowledge his immense contribution. Secondly, Mr Jinnah’s point of asking for Pakistan is correct, because he felt that in a democratic India, the Muslim Voice would be drowned, which is correct.
As Indians, if we look in our heart we can surely find a brotherly love for Pakistan, instead of listening to the Self Serving Politicians on both sides.
I must say that jaswant singh is a courageous man because he show his courage to praise a personality who is hatered in india.
i think not all indian hates jinnah this is a small group which is trying to make the relations of pakistan and india fade
so be aware and try to think and find by your own and dont make decisions by just listening to others.
Hats off to Jaswant Singh. He has the courage to face facts. Nehru, Patel and party had their brand of politics in which rights of Muslims were given no consideration. If they wanted to keep India united, they certainly did not do anything towards it. The congress leadership was overconfident and convinced that India would not be divided even without any assurance to guard Muslim rights in Muslim majority areas. Muslims of India were fortunate to have statesman, politician and vibrant leader like Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He had kept his options open for united India till year 1946. Even when Pakistan movement was near completion. Seeing complete denial of Muslim aspirations he had no options left but to go for truncated and apparently difficult Pakistan. I wish I could say the same about the congress leaders. Their belief in United India was persistently being negated even after partition. Logically they should have worked towards dispute resolution with Pakistan and worked out a political unity of some kind in 1947. Their success to keep the hatred burning and amplifying enmity by their policies speak of myopia and lack of political wisdom. Its acceptance by a renowned Indian politician indicated presence of saner and rational mindset in Indian Leadership. Which is a hope for South Asia. On the other side blind opposition to the book and observations of Mr Jaswant Singh indicate bad omen and continued misery for multitudes of the two countries.
