Warid Telecom is finally again visible on the media as well as on the blogosphere with its new product targetting youth segment labeled as “GLOW“.
The Warid Glow Brand has been launched with a new website and attractive rates. The rates are only attractive to a limited segment and lets hope Warid convince that specific segment to start using it. The segment is of course the Youth.

I will not go into the details of the tariff as our purpose is to highlight the fact that the tariff plan is again very complex and i fail to understand why Warid team comes out with such a complex pricing? For any segment, we need a simple pricing plan that everyone understands easily and can communicate accordingly.
Moreover, there are a lot of asterics with the pricing and the communication is not clear which will again result in a bad taste for the customers who don’t follow the asterics (*) at the end of the tariff plan. For example, the unlimited SMS are not in fact unlimited and hence Warid should have communicated it.
Lets hope they keep marketing it for sometime unlike their previous practice of abandoning the brand after few days of promotion on media. Warid Telecom should understand that the Youth Segment of the market is the cash rich and high ARPU customers and to churn them out from other brands like Djuice and URock will require a sustained effort.

Dude this warid package is nothing, all about bull shit.
sms bundles are only for Glow 2 Glow customers. Im not happy with this package,i was going to convert my sim from ufone to warid but now im not. Ufone is the best.

i remember 2 days ago with heavy rains in karachi only warids network was working wihtout any fault! ufone and telenor went down for about 10 to 12 hours. in my area with jazz dropping calls.

Indeed Warid is the better service as compare to others, better coverage and GLOW really did the trick on weekend. Its better to have a good Coverage and Good price rather than keeping any one like Either good Coverage or Price.

yaar i just bought Warid Zem. fine with the calling rates but they dont have cool sms packages
they have cited on the site that remaining sms will not be carried forward I think warid should come with some great packages like Ufone have. like 30Rs for 165 packages. Warid should come with 200 SMS with 30 Rs with validity of 15 days………….. what you guyz say I used to use ufone, recently bought Warid and only problem facing is SMS PACKAGE………… Can anyone help me out with more packages if Warid have otherwise i will have to switch on Ufone

If u want to activate 700 sms package/week, u jst hv to text GLOW 700 to 7070. U cant check how many sms u hv used.
