General Ashfaq Pervaiz Kiyani has proved himself as a very capable and professional military commander. During the time of crises caused by the long march, it was his prudence to interfere behind the scenes to diffuse the situation. He has also avoided coming on the media to give any type of speech and that is very much in line with his role as military chief of Pakistan. He has also been visited what are otherwise considered very dangerous and out of bound areas by our political and bureaucratic leaders. Only last month he visited North and South Waziristan agencies. It is worth mentioning here that the last leader who visited these areas was General Pervaiz Musharraf. Our political establishments are too scared to visit these areas and in the last 8 years, no politician has visited these areas. General Kiyani also been extensively travelling in Dir, Bajawar and Swat operational areas.
I would also like to draw the attention of our readers to the fact that our politicians are too fond of travelling but to countries where their true masters reside i.e Western countries and Dubai. Only last month our political jokers visited several countries of the world and stayed at hotels costing an average of $3000 (Rs. 240,000) per night. Even the ex American President George Bush and current President Obama has visited Afghanistan and Iraq several times to boost the moral of their soldiers. I think it is time that our leaders start realizing the fact that they don’t have to matach the Western leaders in just the luxuries that they enjoy but they also have to match their courage and character. Kayani is the real hero for pakistanis. Our political leaders are good for nothing. They are simply there to discourage Pakistan army at the behest of Europeans.

Gen.Kiyani is realy a perfect soldier and true pakistani made genral.We proud on his professionalism and way of thinking.What he did or is doing is 100% in the interest of our country.
