Ajmal Qasab Pleaded “Not Guilty”

by MJK on May 6, 2009

Ajmal Qasab, the sole suspect in Mumbai attacks, has pleaded “Not Guilty” to all charges imposed on him by Indian government. He said in his statement before the Indian judge “It’s all wrong. I’m not guilty.”

According to the Indian authorities, Ajmal Qasab faces a total of 86 charges against him and he has pleaded “not guilty” to all the charges. He told the court that he is 21 years old and hence quashed the earlier claims of his defence that he is juvenile. Anyways, the cases seems cloudy to me the way it has been conducted from the very first day. I think Ajmal Qasab is not juvenile. Having said that, i strongly feel he has been brainwashed and hence medically insane to stand this trial. The way he has been kept in secretive custody sheds further doubts on this case. Anways, lets see the Indain trials drama as it unfolds.
