Adnan Sami Khan has received death threats from someone whom he declined to mention to the media. However, Adnan Sami Khan has informed Pakistani Prime Minister and President about the people who has given him the death threats. He also informed the Indian Home Ministry to share the details of the person. The purpose is logically to thwart the person whom i feel must be an influential person. Otherwise, no one could have touched a famous person like Adnan Sami Khan with extensive links in both Indian and Pakistani elite circles. It is worth mentioning here that Indian underworld has strong links with Indian film and music industry and it is not rare to see their interference in the affairs.
Pakistani singer Adnan Sami, involved in a bitter legal battle with his estranged wife over allegations of harassment, has received a death threat, his publicist claimed today but police said no such complaint has been received so far.
” Sami has communicated this threat to Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Yusuf Ali Gilani through telephone,”Sami&aposs publicist Alok Mathur told PTI.
Sami has also complained to the Home Ministry here, he said, adding his security has been enhanced.
“The singer-composer received an international call last Saturday asking him to stop harassing his wife or face the consequences,” Mathur said.
Sami, 35, has got an interim relief from the sessions court which directed the police to give a 72-hour prior notice before taking action against him on any complaint filed by his wife Saba.
Oshiwara police, however, said that they have not received any complaint from Sami on the alleged threat to him.
