In a tragic incident, the security motorcade of Federal Information Minister Sherry Rehman hit a taxi cab and resulted in the death of two innocent 9th class students who were on the way from their college. The irony of the matter is that our hypocrite minister used her influence and make it look like in the corrupt media that it was not even her motorcade rather it was a motorcade of some other NWFP and Federal Minister as she was already on her way out from Peshawar. The motorcade and the minister that was travelling in it didn’t have the courtesy to stop and have a look at the poor students who lost their lives as a result of their rash driving.
Can you imagine the condition of the mothers of the two when the bodies of their children were brought to them who were on the way to seek education and who came back to home in bad shape and being dead. If that was not enough, Sherry Rehman had the courage to say that investigation has been launched into the incident. It take an hour to reach a conclusion on such investigations and she should stop fooling around. Come out and face the wrath of her actions. She should be made responsible for what happened to the two students and should be removed from her position as Federal Minister. She should be made responsible for what happened and investigation should be launched into the fact that these corrupt and hypocrite ministers really need these security motorcades? Who pays for these Rs. 35 lakh worth of Toyota Vigo which are excessively used by these so called people representatives for their security? The ministers are not Brahmaans and hence they should not be given any preferrential treatment. If they are our representatives, they should live the same way as we do and not try to become gods. They should face the same justice and punishments which a common man faces.
I am sure this blog post will not have any major impact on anyone since it was not our bodies that were brought to our homes to our mothers but that of some unknown students and we are least bothered about them. We will not learn the lesson until we come across such incidents ourselves and then we will try to cry and raise voices but we will face the same wall of indifferent attitude which we are showing today to others. We are equally responsible for what we are facing today and God has brought down his wrath on us in the form of our rulers who rob us, kill us and then blame us for it as well. We deserve it and we are getting it and it will not change until we raise our voices and make sure those who committ such crimes are brought to the People’s Justice.
ISLAMABAD: The Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Sherry Rehman has expressed her profound shock and anguish over tragic deaths of two students in road accident in Peshawar.
The information minister on way back to Islamabad received news of the accident on University Road Peshawar in which two students tragically lost their lives.
They were hit by a security vehicle at the tail of the motorcade comprising vehicles of the federal and NWFP information ministers, local MNAs and MPAs.
According to initial reports, the last of the motorcade on its way to the Kacha Garhi IDPs camp in Peshawar, lost control while trying to save pedestrians suddenly appearing across its path, and accidentally hit three persons including two students.
Students identified as Ali Khan and Saeed Malik succumbed to their injuries while the security car driver also suffered critical injuries.
Extending her heartfelt condolences to the victims’ family, Ms Rehman said the case had been registered and the NWPF government was probing the tragic incident with full transparency to bring justice to the aggrieved families.
Our Peshawar Bureau adds: A police vehicle escorting the Federal Minister for Information Sherry Rahman hit a taxicab that turned turtle causing death of a 9th grade student of the Islamia Collegiate School and unidentified driver of the taxicab on the Jamrud Road here Saturday afternoon.
Hundreds of students of the Islamia Collegiate School and other institutions blocked the Jamrud Road following the killing of the student. An escort jeep rammed into a taxicab that was taking a U-turn on University Road near the Islamia College University. The cab turned turtle and hit a class 9th student, Said Malik of Wazir Dhand, Khyber Agency. The student died on the spot. Three passengers of the cab also sustained injuries. It was not known as to whose fault caused the accident.
After blocking the Jamrud Road, the students tried to damage the escort car. However, the police dispersed the students. The driver of the escort car was said to be in custody of the University Town police. An empty liqour bottle and playing cards reportedly were recovered from the escort car. Source: The News

I wish someday our ppl could come out on road for their rights..like they came out (because being ordered so as part of a deliberate plan..in my opinion) for Benazir and burnt billions of rupees in Our Pakistan…!!
