RBS Pakistan Up For Sale After Record Losses Reported By RBS UK
Royal Bank of Scotland posted record losses for year ending 2008 in UK corporate history , accumulating to £24.1bn ($34 Billion).
RBS said that its 2008 loss totalled £24.1bn ($34.2bn), which is the biggest annual loss in the UK corporate history. It also said it would put £325bn of toxic assets into a scheme that offers insurance for any further losses. This is a much larger amount than had been expected, and given that these assets are so difficult to value it is not clear whether the British government will in the long run make or lose money on the deal.
RBS Pakistan has declared that its operations are up for sale as well after the RBS posted the biggest loss in the corporate histoty of UK. The RBS exit comes at a time when it was in the process of reorganising the business of ABN AMRO, which it bought at peak of the global financial crisis in 2007.

BOEING 797-REALITY OR FICTION??
Boeing is preparing a 1000 passenger jet that could reshape the Air travel industry for the next 100 years. The radical Blended Wing design has been developed by Boeing in cooperation with the NASA Langley Research Center. The mammoth plane will have a wing span of 265 feet compared to the 747’s 211 feet, and is designed to fit within the newly created terminals used for the 555 seat Airbus A380, which is 262 feet wide. The new 797 is in direct response to the Airbus A380 which has racked up159 orders, but has not yet flown any passengers.
Boeing decide to kill its 747X stretched super jumbo in 2003 after little interest was shown by airline companies, but has continued to develop the ultimate Airbus crusher 797 for years at its Phantom Works research facility in Long Beach, Calif. The Airbus A380 has been in the works since 1999 and has accumulated $13 billion in development costs, which gives Boeing a huge advantage now that Airbus has committed to the older style tubular aircraft for decades to come.

Role in India’s Domestic Politics. RAW also became a political instrument in internal politics which came to the fore during the infamous ‘emergency period’ under Prime Minister Mrs. Gandhi. Former Joint Secretary in Prime Minister Mrs. Gandhi’s Secretariat, B.N. Tandon stated, ‘under R.N. Rao the RAW conducted domestic, surveillance’s. I have seen several unsigned reports submitted by them…. RAW funds were used for party purposes.’
RAW was established on Kautilyan principles to undertake clandestine operations in neighboring states to destabilize them.

Snipers in Pakistan Army
Sniper Rifles are a necessity for any modern day army. Some defence analysts argue that WWII was won by the snipers for the Allies, originating from the Historic city of Stalingrad (Movie: Enemy at the Gates). Snipers are Morale Slayers, as they are not easily detected and often shoots from Far distances. They are often categorized as part of the Psychological Warfare.
SNIPER Definition:
A sniper is usually a highly trained marksman that shoots targets from concealed positions or distances exceeding the capabilities of regular personnel. Snipers typically have specialized training and distinct high-precision rifles.

Marriot Hotel Two Floors on Fire
According to the media reports coming out, fire has engulfed the two stories of the Marriot hotel that has recently been targeted in suicide bombing. The fire can be seen from the place where i am standing and it has engulfed the entire area in smoke. There is just one fire brigade which is trying to extinguish the fire.
It is ironic that after the last suicide bombing, there is still no adequate arrangement to over come the fire. I think no one is going to stay in this hotel after this incident. Marriot is now a history for any sane person to stay here. The government is all busy trying to figure out their political differences rather then concentrating on such problems. The residents of the city are already shocked by the last incident and now this one has already added to their miseries.
