Even though the website lootmaar.com is not a relatively new venture, still it is not that popular with the Pakistani readers and i think its time that we do our best to introduce it to our readers. Even though the founders of the site hate to be called Pakistani E bay but frankly speaking what else i can call it to explain it to my readers? Therefore i will go ahead and say that Lootmaar can be best explained as Pakistani Ebay.

It is an online market place catering to the Pakistani population whom the founders expected to grow very rapidly back in 2006 when they were starting the venture. Anyways, optimism is what contributes towards making a person entrepreneur.

The site has not grown as much as it would have done in any developed country but then remember Pakistani’s are slow to accept changes and we are also  not DEVELOPED. I will not try to be Pakistani techcrunch and explain its pros and cons for you as i haven’t tried it myself but my little research on the web easily made me realize it that the site has a very practical business model and hence there is high probability that you will get what you are paying for and in case you do, please come here and drop a message to pass on the message. The problem is that if someday someone find any fault with the site, they will make sure to comment every where on the blogosphere but rarely someone appreciate when they get the best of the service. Overall, the site offers a wide variety of products but main focus is on electronics.

The about us page of Lootmaar.com is very interesting and much different then what you might see on majority of the sites which try to give a professional and serious look. Instead, the guys tried to be very genuine in their approach and i must appreciate them for it. There is one more thing, the blog of the site seems to be a more of a personal blog rather then that of Lootmaar.com so i had to go into the archives to extract some relevant data. I suggest they should utilize the blog site in a productive manner and not undermine its power.

The two guys naming Adnan Turab and Noman Haider, who founded the site are pretty straight forward in disclosing their  motivation behind lootmaar.com and that is “Want to be Rich”.
