 
Zaid Hamid , the defence Analyst who runs Brasstacks (an Independent and private think-tank and Defence Analysis consulting group) is all over Indian Media, since exposing Mumbai drama staged to divert attention from the Hindu extremest groups towards Pakistan.
Brasstack.com writes ‘Ever since Zaid Hamid exposed the Mumbai Drama staged by Indian Intelligence Agencies, they have been scrambling to hide their shame. In a series of articles appearing on various Indian website, Zaid Hamid’s video clips, pictures and statements are being quoted, in what has become huge embarrassment for Indian establishment’.
Zaid Hamid who is usually seen on News1 channel in Pakistan has been in the limelight, some of the questions raised and analysis done by him, which really agitated Indian establishment and media in the aftermath of Mumbai Attacks are as follows;
‘How come the Anti Terrorist Chief and two other very important ATS policemen investigating the network of terror in India’s Security agencies and radical rights were killed with in the the first 5 minutes of the attacks’. Hamid further adds ‘ that these killings would halt the investigations into the Samjhuta express Carnage, in which lots of innocent Pakistanis and Indians died, not to mention that the attention would be shifted from India’s domestic Terrorists to Pakistan’. Hamid also questioned the presence of saffron Hindu Zionist bands worn by the Terrorits involved, which no muslim would wear.
Further Analysis by the Defence Analyst mentions’ Balochistan Liberation Army, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan and in Swat Mullah Fazlullah is totally supported by Indian agencies to carry out Terrorist Strikes in Pakistan. On the global front Hamid is convinced that the main purpose of the West mainly US and Israel along with India is take out Pakistan Nuclear Arsenal. And declaring Pakistan a Terrorist State is its present priority.

If the Mumbai attacks were all a BJP or RSS conspiracy as Zaid Hamid claims, then i ask him, why do you think congress govt which is the govt in power right now in India not doing anything to expose this fraud. Don’t you think the congress govt would not waste an opportunity like this to destabilize their long time potent rival the BJP and keep them at bay for the up coming elections. If this was a BJP or RSS job, congress and other rivals of the BJP would seize this opportunity to expose this fraud and win the elections. Another thing about the ATS chief who was killed. He was killed in an encounter with the terrorist in the initial phase of the attack, which was at a Hospital. The proof to this is the fact that there already was a news channel reporting on the incident, it was believed initially that the attack was just a gang war and not a terrorist attack. YOu could clearly see Mr Karkare getting off from his vehicle putting on a bulletproof jacket which didn’t look like it was in a very good shape and he was not carrying any fire arms maybe at most his hand gun because it was thought that the fight was over. I highly doubt that there was a conspiracy behind his death.
I ve seen Mr Zaid Hamid’s program on youtube. He seems to me an intelligent person. I begin to doubt his intelligence only when he’s called a Defense analyst. Because if he’s an analyst he’s not supposed to be so biased. Seems more like he forms his own favorable conclusions first and then looks for explanations that support them rather than the other way round. However if he is a Propagandist then i think he’s brilliant. After all he’s doing his job.

I would love to see Zaid Hamid’s reaction when even the Pak Media has accepted that Kasab is their citizen. Guess his reputation as a Sr Defence Analyst has taken a severe beating and hopefully the media bans him from making any statements that mislead the citizens of Pakistan.
Zaid must be feeling very low that his so called indians Amar Singh and heera lal are from Faridkot as kasab’s father has recognised him. Now i think Mr zaid should pull down the shutters of him defence consultancy (of that i am sure no one would be going to him for such consultancy) and rest in peace. There’s another thing worth taking note is the saffron thread worn by Kasab, the so called Amar Singh. Apart from the fact that if this was a BJP-Rss-Raw doing, no body would be so stupid so as not to pay attention to such a prominent detail, they perhaps would even be circumcised along with fake pakistani passports in their haversacks.

What more proof does Pak media want ? Their own media (Geo TV) has found that one guy is indeed from faridkot. And yes, where is Zaid Hamid hiding now ? Why does’nt he come out and refute the findings by Geo TV ? What does Pakistan have to say about the fact that even China allowed the UNSC resolution ? The pakistani public needs to realize whats happening and come out of their denial mode to set the house in order.
My main evedence this is clearly not pakistan is one killing of hemant and then the pictures of this supposedly pakistani man in railway station and then compare to ones that some of the media have shown of the captured terrorist. I am an indian citizen living abroad. First of all I would like to congratulate you for being so rational about the issues you discussed and specially Junaid showed lot of heart in accepting them and taking them rationally.
For any proud citizen whether it is an Indian or a Pakistani, it is imperative that he will defend his country in whatever way possible. So it is not at all wrong in defending the criticism on whole of pakistan after the mumbai attacks by pakistani citizens.But I would like to request you to please look at the facts which are coming out and check them locally in pakistan ( for instance address of the captured terrorist, his father’s statements etc). If it is indeed fake news, I as an Indian am equally curious to know the real culprits as you are. You dont even have to publish these facts if they come out right but it will certainly help you to decide on who are right people in your country which you can trust. In the same way, I am trying to find out real facts through my friends in Mumbai to get to the bottom of this unfortunate incident.

I fully support the view that Zaid Hamid should be made the President of Pakistan. First of all he speaks his mind which is very good because he does not double speak. It will soon lead to anarchy in Pakistan because most of his views and decisions will be Quixoitic. Not only that everything which was being done against India, especially Kashmir, will become open and the whole world will know the naked face of the failed state Pakistan. I would like to appreciate Junaid and Huda’s rational discussion of Pakistan’s problems. I think both India and Pakistan need to tone down their rhetoric, and get down to solving their own problems.
Though Huda has a very positive opinion of India, I would stick my neck out to say India also is plagued by many issues, which are styming it’s citizens. Having said that, India has also made many leaps in terms of socio-economic progress.
Both, India and Pakistan got their independence at the same time, but one of the reasons for India rushing ahead, is it’s size, which gives it economies of scale.
If we look closely, it was in British interests, to leave all their empires in fragments, so that countries like ours(India, Pakistan, Bangladesh) can forever be entangled in conflicts, and their resources be channelised in managing them, thus their growth won’t threaten the Brits.
If we look closely, the Indian Sub-continent has hardly threats from beyond the Himalayas and Hindu Kush, since it’s only barren lands till miles away, and the other mode of conquest (Sea), can be prevented by a strong Navy. I am quoting this from Stratfor(US Think tank).
My point is, if the Indian Sub-continent can rise above their petty entanglements over territorial ambitions, and gun their attention towards economic growth, then a lot more can be achieved. We can maintain our separate identities of india, pakistan, and bangladesh, but our focus should be economic growth, not a perennial paranoia of security, along with territorial ambitions.

I 1st time opened this site cz m a great fan of Zaid Hamid n of course m a pakistani trying to understand the situation and history. m nt that wise but one thing i wana assure u that this pakistani nation is not less than anyone alhamdulilah we have great potential to do anything and the coming time will prove it so anyone who jst have even a slightest doubt b aware of us……..

The partition was not done on the basis of the fertility of the land but on the basis of the demography of the population in British India, with the princely states given a choice between accession and independence. Even India was struggling with food problems till the Green Revolution. In short, it was a planned, scientific effort which brought about the prosperity, something that’ll work for Pakistan too, if some effort is expended in that direction.
As for Zaid Hamid, a defense analyst who basis his theory on a piece of thread on someone’s arm should reconsider his profession. But then, maybe it isnt his profession.
I have heard him and all he is about is inflammatory speeches and propaganda. He would not be a misfit in Hitler’s Nazi party with his over the top anti-semitic rhetoric.
I am wondering why has the logical edge to the discussion going on so far disappeared. Ever since Kasab’s national identity has been revealed, I am yet to see a post from Pakistan logically discussing the events. All of a sudden, there is wholesome praise for Zaid Hamid without discussing his “Amar Singh” fiasco. Why not talk about it more?
It clearly shows his level of expertise in the said area. Beware before he shows his expertise in other areas too. He is doing more dis-service to his countrymen by blaming the entire world for Pakistan’s problems because this prevents any self introspection.
I have seen his “Whole world against Pakistan” themed talks. But am confused as to why would US, Israel and India gang up on Pakistan. US was a friend to Pakistan in the whole Afghan Jihad. Israel has no interests in the region. This is totally an India-Pakistan problem.
I admit we have similar folks here in India. Mr Modi is but an extreme example. But seeing folks rooting for people like these is extremely disappointing.
