Few weeks back i was told my a family member that the so called terrorists in the guise of Talibans have started visiting local mosques to ask for donations and to identify possible allies and enemies. One such group also visited our mosque in the posh Hayatabad area, which adjoins the tribal area of Jamrud in Peshawar. This do shows that the militants are setting their eyes on the city of Peshawar otherwise they will never have thought about conducting informal intelligence gatherings. Moreover, this also shows the organized nature of militancy in Pakistan.

It is high time that our government start expanding their operation and increase the funding to our intelligence agencies who are the best player to tackle this growing militancy.
