I though to start sharing with our readers some of the websites that i came across and found interesting.

Viviti is a Content Management System and website builder site. It works just like blogspot or wordpress if

you want to use it for creating your blog but it has also few extra features like Ebay listing, Google Map Component, Form Component and paypal component. These extra components beside the traditional options of adding videos from Youtube, polls, audio and the large number of themes available in the beta version makes it one of the attrative choice for people tired of typical wordpress and blogspot.

The Viviti team introduces the site by saying

Viviti is a free Content Management System and Website Builder that allows you to easily build your own dynamic website, either by selecting one of our premade themes or make your own theme simply by using html and css.

Everything is hosted for you and all management and creation is done in your browser.

Registration on the Viviti is not like any other beta site. The users have to provide their e mail address and the Viviti team sends them a product key on the e mail address. Looking at the comments on the Viviti blog, i found out that the key is not delievered instantly in majority of the cases and potential beta testers have to wait for it in few cases.

The thing that makes me wonder is how this site will survive in the cut throat competition in the website building sites. The authors are mostly young guys in their early twenties and i am sure it might work for them as tester for their newly acquired skills. Their own blog sites are also running on Viviti. They serve as sample sites that are practically using Viviti. Frankly speaking i didnt find anything that distinguish them from any other blog site created by wordpress or blogspot etc.
