Makran Coastal Highway - N10
|
Recently a friend of mine working in the International Red Cross (IRC) showed me the pictures of Makran/Gawadar Coastal highway and it was nothing less then impressive. I never thought that such beautiful roads exist in Pakistan. Specially the sand mountains cut by the wind gives an awesome image. There was this one sand moutain in the shape of a lady and it was named as “Princess of Hope” by the authorities as i could see from the board marking it. That “Princess of hope” was a sight worth seeing. Here is a picture of Princess of Hope that i thought to share with our readers.
Another shot of the same princess of hope View of the Makran/Gawadar Coastal Highway. I am sure if properly marketed, this highway has the potential to become one of the major tourist attraction of Pakistan. The golden sand beaches which are untouched by the tourists provides very natural look. I cant wait to see this highway and will write another blog inshAllah once i see it and take loads of pictures myself.
