The speaker national assembly officially accepted the resignation and also declared President Musharraf to be the first man in Pakistan history to have resigned in accordance to the constitution . Following Musharraf’s resignation he received the guard of honor as he made his way out of Presidency. The naval forces , army and air force have also declared to bid farewell to the President. Musharraf’s resignation marks an end to his 44 yrs in Pakistani service , initially as an army officer . His farewell became a graceful ending to the much hyped controversy .

Following the resignation the Presidential post has been filled by the over volunteering Mr.Soomro . This is the second time he has been sought to act as an acting authority , previously he was asked to act as an acting Prime minister. There is an obvious end to everything whether it comes with acceptance or negligence.This however marks and end to Musharraf’s reign only and  cannot be tagged as the beginning of democracy in the country . Well obviously because beggars are not choosers now are they ? , our nation lacks sincere and polished politicians. Thereby we are left on the mercy of the tried and the tested . Even in times like this we should not loose hope and should maintain our decorum . In all good or bad Musharraf’s resignation marks the beginning to the end of revenge based politics . its time that our leaders should stop basing judgments on utter rivalry and ork towards national interest . Meetings are underway of who to choose as the upcoming President . Bilawal ‘bhutto’ zardari has claimed the candidate to be from the PPP . The self appointed bhutto is most likely to name daddy dearest for the post . Talk about the future of the country directly being in the hand of the ‘youth’.

May the uncertainities shed off  and the sun shines brightly on our nation . We as individuals need to strat taking steps towards spreading political awareness among our people. We need education and understanding of political matters . Education is the only steps towards combating theories that declare Pakistan non deserving of democracy . Unfortunately the educated class doesnt represent the majority and thereby teh feudal lord will continue to be elected until people seek difference of opinion . For a brighter much prosperous Pakistan the epowerment of people is extremely important . There is nothing more we need right now other then to stand firm and united an not loose hope and faith . There is a lot more that waits for us and we as a nation will make it through GOD WILLING ! (INSHALLAH)
