Ufone GSM has substantially changed its image from the operator for the masses to being innovative. For the past few months, Ufone has introduced many innovative services in Pakistan. Ufone Self Service Kiosks is one such offer which gives makes it the first telecom operator in Pakistan to come up with this service. The service has initially been launched in the four main cities of Pakistan but will soon be expanded to all other cities of Pakistan. This service surely marks a step towards automation of customer service in Pakistan The Ufone explains the purpose and objective of this service as following: “Now no longer need to stand in queue while visiting our Customer Service centre for a scratch card, U Top Up or to pay your postpay bills, you can pay them right away at a Ufone self service kiosk placed at our service centers.” The details of this service as to how it works are as following. What does it do? U Top Up: Now all Ufone Prepaid customers can Top Up their accounts via these kiosks. You can buy prepaid credit simply by paying your desired credit amount directly into the Kiosk. Once your transaction is successful, you will receive an SMS confirmation. Top Up options are available in a varied range between Rs.10, Rs.50, Rs.100, Rs.250 and Rs.500 Ufone Postpay bill payment: Ufone kiosk provides you with a new billing option, now all Ufone Postpay customers can make their full or partial payment using our kiosk facility. The payment can be made either through Cash or by Credit Card (VISA and MasterCard). The kiosk will issue a receipt and furthermore payment acknowledgement is also done through SMS. How does it work? Customers will access the Kiosk via the touch screen, this will show the customer the two options of language.
Once customer will select the language, he/she will be given the following options
If the customer selects Ufone Prepaid the following options will be displayed to the customer
If the customer selects Ufone Postpay the following options will be displayed to the customer.
