Indian government is busy these days in killing innocent Kashmiri’s when the whole world is celebrating the Beijing Olympics. Every day the intensity of the protests is increasing as well as the number of innocent protestors killed by the Indians. Yesterday they killed 5 while today they doubled it and killed 13 and wounded hundreds. I wonder why the whole world is quiet on these atrocities committed by the Indian state which claims to be the secular. The violence in the last few months have revealed the biased nature of Indian government which has failed in protecting the lives of its Muslim population and its trigger happy forces are busy in cleansing the innocent Kashmiri’s. I also wonder why our famous GEO News rarely mention the news of Kashmir violence. Why they hesitate in publishing these news while they make a big issue out of stupid news relating to Musharraf or judges issue? Is there some link or some possible business interest of Geo Management with the Indians or is it that they have a different set of agenda which excludes the Kashmir.

I think its the time that we should all stand up for our Kashmiri brothers in this time of need and renew our struggle to make Kashmir part of Pakistan. Without Kashmir, Pakistan is nothing and we will never let that happen. Long Live Pakistan

SRINAGAR, India (AFP) — Indian security forces killed at least 13 Muslim protesters in Kashmir Tuesday as they struggled to contain a new wave of anger against New Delhi’s hold over the disputed region, officials said. Casualties mounted the day after a leading separatist politician and five other protesters were gunned down by troops in the scenic valley, amid some of the worst violence of an 19-year-old insurgency.

Police and soldiers enforced a daylight curfew across the Himalayan region in a bid to prevent rioting and resorted to using gunfire and baton charges in the face of widespread defiance including stone-throwing, witnesses said. “We want freedom and we will continue our struggle until we are free,” senior Muslim cleric and separatist leader Mirwaiz Umar Farooq told AFP. Police, medical doctors and witnesses said 13 Muslim protesters, including a 55-year-old woman, were gunned down and hundreds of others wounded across Jammu and Kashmir state, including in the summer capital Srinagar.
