Indian Barbarism in Occupied Kashmir

Indian forces have brutally suppressed the protest rally by over 100,000 protesters who were demanding the basic human rights in Indian held occupied Kashmir valley. During the firing on the peaceful protesters, the Indian Barbaric forces killed 16 innocent people as well as the famous Kashmiri leader Sheikh Abdul Aziz. This is a shocking story and exposes the double standards of the Indian government which tried to project its image as a secular country in the world.

Indian Hindus have blocked the land access of the Kashmiri Muslims and are depriving them from selling their products outside Kashmir. The blockage has deprived millions of Kashmiri citizens from earning the daily wages to sustain their livelihood. I think this is the classic example of a scenario which creates hatred against the world powers in the hearts of Muslims because today we don’t see any American or and other international organization speaking out for the rights of the Kashmiri while the whole media is full of news when a single citizen of Israel gets injured even in an accident. No government in considering imposing any sanctions on the Indian state for their atrocities in the occupied Kashmir.

We the Team of Pro Pakistan are with our brothers and sisters in held Kashmir in these turbulent times. I am sure Asif Zardari, Yousaf Raza Gillani, Nawaz Sharif and Sherry Rehman will save time from their busy schedule to speak out for the rights of our Kashmiri brothers.

SRINAGAR, occupied Kashmir, Aug 11 (Agencies) - Indian troops on Monday shot dead prominent Kashmiri separatist leader Sheikh Abdul Aziz and 7 other protesters as they tried to halt huge Muslim demonstrations in the revolt-hit occupied Kashmir, police and witnesses said. At least 200 others were injured. Sheikh Abdul Aziz, a former militant turned moderate political leader, was killed while taking part in a protest march close to the Line of Control, which separates the Indian and Pakistani parts of the Himalayan region. A police official said at least 7 other protesters were killed in a day of fierce clashes in the disputed Kashmir valley. A doctor at Srinagar’s main hospital, Manzoor Ahmed, confirmed Aziz died of a gunshot wound. “We will spill blood for blood,” Aziz’s supporters chanted as they carried his body out of the hospital. Security forces immediately imposed a strict curfew in Srinagar. Aziz, 52, was a prominent member of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference. The shooting came as Indian security forces tried to prevent about 100,000 Muslims from marching towards the LoC — one of the biggest protests ever seen in occupied Kashmir. The marchers had reached a point just 40 kilometres from the LoC.. Police said the day’s violence had also left at least 200 people injured. Kashmiri separatist leaders had called the march to protest against an economic blockade of the Muslim-majority Kashmir valley by Hindu extremists in Jammu. The blockade caused shortages of essentials such as medicines. Fruit growers and traders had also vowed to cross the LoC so they can sell their produce in Muzaffarabad, the capital of Azad Kashmir. Aziz, who had been jailed on several occasions for demanding occupied Kashmir’s merger with Pakistan, is the third prominent separatist leader to have been killed since the eruption of the Muslim insurgency in 1989. Mirwaiz Molvi Mohammed Farooq was killed by unidentified gunmen in 1990. Another top separatist, Abdul Gani Lone, was gunned down in 2002. (source: Dawn)

  1. This article is nothing but a BS. As a pakistani I am more worried about whether our country survive as a nation 10 years ahead than what is happening in India.

  2. Kindly define what is the geographical defination of your country
Because as far as I remember from day one , right from the founder of Pakistan Quaid e Azam PAKISTANIS have considered Kashmir a part of PAKISTAN not India and this article is about a part of Pakistan under Indian occupation
If we dont have the courage to get it rescued atleast keep in mind whats actually yours

  3. @ABID thank you for visiting us firstly . Also as much as I appreciate you reading the article and making a comment I would also want to say that everyone has the right to hold their personal opinions. Pro-Pakistan is a platform to discuss issues about Pakistan and the opinions of Pakistan about global issues . You might be concerned about other things which I respect but one should also respect others concerns and opinions they prefer raising a voice for.
@zuhair its your country too you know :) and yes you are right about the issue and confusion over it.

  4. Why pakistan has sidelined kashmir.Every kashmiri is saying “long live pakistan” even they are dying on one side. This shows that pakistan is in our every drop of blood. But unfortunately Pak is saying nothing about human rights voilation in disputed IOC.

  5. Rafi i agree with you and that is one main reason that the team at Pro Pakistan writes on this topic to highlight the importance of this issue. Trust me the whole Pakistani nation feels the pain of our Kashmiri brother and sisters but you know our leaders have different priorities which are mostly based on their personal benefits.
But the time has come that these leaders won’t survive for long. The change will come sooner then later.
