Dr. Aafia - Picture Speak Thousands Words

I just came across the picture of our sister Dr. Aafia Siddiqui and was literally shocked to see her. Her face speaks volumes of the torture and other assaults she had to face while in the captivity of Americans in the Bagram Jail in Afghanistan for the past five years. George Bush should be tried in her case as well as the FBI director and concerned Pakistani authorities from Interior Ministry who handed over her to the Americans.
Her above picture is that of the time when she was a happy person graduating from the world prestigious university MIT which is a model of American development in the field of science and technology while the other picture is of the time when she super graduated from American prison in Afghanistan where she was illegally held for five years with no access to the outside world and was repeatedly assaulted physically and sexually.
I never thought the Americans would come out so openly against the Muslims who don’t accept their illegal demands. They wanted to make Dr. Aafia an example so that no innocent Muslim or Pakistani ever refuses to be called an Al Qaeda associate, if the Americans order him to. No doubts that the same drama went behind the 9/11 suspects as well as others whom the Americans link to Al Qaeda. I am sure some day when they have to get rid of him they will dub Musharraf too as an active associate of Al Qaeda . |

There is no proof whatsoever that Dr. Siddiqui was held in Bagram or that the Americans detained her, never mind that she was raped and tortured for five years. What is the basis of your claims? Because of what fundamentalist convert Yvonne Ridley said? Because of claims made by Siddiqui’s family? How do they know this if they haven’t seen Aafia in five years?
Thank goodness this is going to trial, so we can find out what happened. We have conflicting narratives here, as one other writer said, and the American’s story seems far-fetched. But there isn’t a shred of evidence for the wild claims you are so ready to believe either.

Also you might like to view images from guantanmo , abu ghuraib jail and bargram for elaboration on treatment of prisoners. the story didn’t pop in from no where since siddiqui’s disappearnce her family has been appealing to locate her which the officials have constantly denied . Mrs siddiqui’s presence was first mentioned in moazam’s book who was an ex detainee in guantanmo and later two Arab prisoners nearly 4 yrs back gave interviews suggesting the presence of a woman prisoner . Keeping all this in mind what are the odds that she wasn’t dr.aafia specially wen the FBI published her picture all ove
r their site just weeks after her disappearnce . They have been denying her arrests until recently
when international organizations like amnesty international also took the lead in her case then
suddenly at their convenience miss siddiqui popped up in Afghanistan . And why exactly has her family been crying wolf for the past 5 years ???? . Take a good luck at the pictures and think over

matter is not only far fetched but obscenly made up !!! It just sad how some of us can even ask such questions after the world has been shaken and shocked of the treatments of detainees in guantanmo bay and other US facility. Sad sad thing!
Please Kelly just answer one question of mine! If Dr. Aafia is US educated and specially a student of MIT, why the Americans still needed an interpreter to talk to her when they were so sure that its Dr. Aafia. The amazing part of CIA (cum Hollywood) story is that it was actually the interpreter who showed heroism by saving the lives of the highly trained two intelligence and three marines from a women who was hardly able to stand in the court room as well as who was subject to intense plastic surgeries so that the proof of torture could be removed from her face.
Shame for all the women who still support the American government in their War against Women since they are unable to get hold of Taliban.

We know that Dr. Aafia Siddiqui has done nothing,so let us arrange a protest to let her back,we should geather as much students,people as we can in this week and then held a peacefull protest to asist govt to let the Dr. Aafia Siddiqui meet tv reperesentatives openly,and let her release.
