Warid telecom has hired Abrar ul Haque as their new brand ambassador. Warid has a history of hiring almost all famous Pakistani figures as its brand ambassadors but the problem is that they rarely use them in their TVC’s or other advertisements. I think our readers won’t be aware that Jawad, Jal, Ali Azmat, Waqar Khan, Reema Khan, Bushra Ansari, Anoushey and few other small groups are or were part of their long list of brand ambassadors. The problem of Warid is that they do bring famous people on board but they don’t know how to effectively utilize them to appeal to their intended target market. Lets hope this time things are a bit different with the Abrar ul Haque.
