The Stanford University Computer Systems At Dow University of Health Sciences, Pakistan

This is the same system that Stanford University, University of California, Berkeley, Princeton University, Cambridge University, Cornell University and Duke University use, says Pakistan Daily. It’s PeopleSoft Enterprise Campus Solution and cost some 45-million rupees [for installation in DUHS], according to the VC Dow University. The system will later be installed in five other major universities as well, i.e. University of Engineering Peshawar, Quaid-e-Azam University Islamabad, University of Punjab Lahore, Islamia University,Bahawalpur, and Balochistan University of Information Technology and Management Sciences, Quetta, and all will cost about 130 million rupees.

It’s certainly a good sign toward the development of efficient processes, and expanding the area of influence. The more important aspect for me here was the technology partner of this project. It’s Techlogix. They have done some projects for financial and manufacturing concerns in the past, and probably in Educational Management this is their first experience, and will be a good base for them to provide quality solutions within Pakistan in future.
