But what clicks the mind is the phrase ‘potential suicide bomber’. How can anyone may it be the US Military Network, the Pentagon or the respective intelligence agencies bring forward a ‘potential’ suicide bomber? For me it rings the bell as

Vision is the art of seeing things invisible. Can anyone having a religious background or having to attend a few extremist camps gain the ‘potential’ to kill thousands of innocent people?

This is pure agony as I may call it. But blowing oneself up takes ample amount of courage, the question of the matter being, what feed is besieged in such people? What kind of teachings can inspire any human to kill, to fancy bloodshed for a cause, may it be any. If it were just killing fellow non-Muslims it would have still been easier to understand. But it starts from the World Trade Center and ends quite interestingly on imam Bargah in Peshawar leaving normal people like us baffled at the insecurity of even the holy places, and the reasoning provided is certainly not consoling. To know how it feels to blow oneself up into flesh and blood and taking so many other lives and allegations on ones head might sound rewarding as we assume it in the head of what we call an extremist. The question is, you be any man, any sect on this planet, wrap a bomb around your chest, and walk right into the crowd knowing you have to execute a plan, with all standards of life around you, people walking, laughing, working, praying most importantly women and infants, for that spur of the moment doesn’t the hand tremble and the mind flip?

Or Perhaps have the very basics of humanity been robbed off them and hatred towards fellow countrymen been engendered undermining the roots of Islam which itself is peace given in bold. Is the absence of basic teachings of Islam leading to ease in brainwashing people? Wielding an army filled with demoralized people bound to take innocent lives and tagging them with their own so-called morals and values, satisfying in the end, the growing thirst for bloodshed.

So far among Muslims, the death of intellectual curiosity, is causing the demise of the Muslim nations and it’s no more a myth and thus is self-explanatory how such people have contributed to it.

Hence it all started off in the mind of the ‘potential’ suicide bomber and ends up in our lives. The answer lies with time, the exposure to the ugliness of life, pain and suffering. The hatred and controversies framed towards Muslims today might as well light up a few owing to the fact that the attributes of Islam, Taqwa the balance and the true intellectual spirit has yet faded.

As wisely said you may have to fight a battle more than once to win it, this is our battle to fight back the true essence of Islam.
