No matter how strongly one believes in something , it is not morally correct to impose it on someone . As we have moved along 60 years in history ,we have attained and set milestones for each one of us . Time changes everything and it has changed a lot between us too . The weightage of materialistic things today is higher than moral and ethics . I am sorry ? Did you say am boring you with this usual philosophical ramblings you have probably heard a million times? Well serves you right! Exactly my point !. We don’t want the usual philosophical chit chats , we are tired of the moral and ethical standards that only look good in books. Unfortunately the truth remains it is not always what we want to hear , neither is it always what we want it to be . The only thing we can and we are doing is by constantly falling under illusions we have stopped believing in revolutions and changes . In the course of time and set backs we have let time win the race while we sit back sip tea and criticize one another. We fall short every time waiting for a messiah to work things for us . We have people who feel pride in highlighting the failures of their country , forgetting in the meanwhile that this is their only true identity . We have been blamed for being too dreamy and too positive to be true , but I would rather suggest balanced optimism then in vain criticism. I am tired of hearing every time ‘ISS MULK KA TO SYSTEM HI KHARAB HAI ! YAHAN KUCH NAI HOSAKTA’ (‘THIS COUNTRY HAS A FAULTY SYSTEM !! NOTHING RIGHT CAN BE DONE HERE ‘) Well to these Mr /Ms too-good-for-Pakistan surely Quad e azam will not be walking out of his grave to fix things for you ? . He did not ideally create this country to be a self functioning domain . This country good or bad is ours . Now coming back to the slogan and those who enchant it Pakistan Zindabad Ya Pakistan say Zinda Bhag ! To those dearly beloveds I would suggest the latter than the former for you .. As to revive this country out of this mess we would require intellectuals grounded with reality and optimism , and not those whose spirits are enslaved by selfishness and who seek only benefits for themselves. . These are our people and this is our country , only we are well-versed enough with its whereabouts to amend the flaws. There is no harm in having a sense of humor even in irony and no harm in acknowledging our flaws . Yet there is also no benefit attained from the stereotypical hopelessness we bind with our country and its people ! For me there shall be only one slogan till I live ! Pakistan Zindabad ! Pakistan Zindabad, always! I keep thinking that if someone said to me “Is mulk ne mujhe kya diya hai?” then I’ll ask him “Abe salay! Tune is mulk ko kya diya hai?” Haven’t gotten the chance yet and I hope to never get it.

Pakistan has never been in good situation………….since it has came into being, no government has tried to solve the problems. Only miracles can help our and Pakistan’s cause.
But we have to bring miracles because Indians or Afghans or for that matter Americans are not going to bring miracles for us

@Imdad and MJK: Things have never been right because we never tried to put them right. We kept on complaining and complaining but doing nothing.
Our ‘free and fair’ media keeps complaining that people don’t have clean drinking water but what they fail to understand or show is that to provide clean drinking water to all areas of Pakistan requires 360 Billion US Dollars as estimated by the World Bank, I believe. That’s twice the GDP under the Mush administration and this is the highest GDP of Pakistan ever! Even if we spend all the GDP on doing it, it’ll still take two years. And what are we going to spend on other things?
Problems accumulated in 60 years cannot be solved overnight! Being a pessimist or “waiting for a miracle” will not take us anywhere. Nations who honor their nationality don’t wait for miracles, they become them!

@ imdad , I do understand that the conditions are frustrating but you also need to acknowledge that it is not true that Pakistan has not achieved anything . our history has been chaotic in places but we have suffered and survived through a lot ! Learn to appreciate good things in life and take pride in even the slightest achievements it will just make life seem easier !

Thats an other good effort done by your behalf in making your say come out to the masses, i appreciate that too, but the point i want to ask from you is what change or revolution is this going to bring in the life of our country , and what weightage it has in the life of an ordinary person the words you just mentioned , its just like that u stand in front of the mirror when ur sad and say that mirror i m sad but i want to think positive and look positive and u will make couple of smiling n cheery faces and then once ur aways from the mirror the real inner self prevails your whole body, same is this for these article or any articles published worldwide, the situation is pretty much like the mirror kind of thing, we feel happy for the moment but when we go out in the real world its all different , you have face the people who dont know how to speak and handle things as being ur PM , and other Ministers and stuff and all they want to listen to is where they can grab more money as they have invested there money in the industries and politics of pakistan , people like us , well we are there labours who work on yearly wages , and since we need basic necessity of life so we behave like hungry dogs on there orders just to get food at the end of the day so , keep writing as i am sure it wont change our worlds fate the country whose poeple couldnt woke up in more then 50 year , what u expect of them to do in future, we are bunch of lazy craps who just know how to talk only and not to do efforts for any thing as we have been puppets now and forever

@Adnan! I agree with you to a certain extent. But i am sure you have noticed the impact of the modern day media on our society. You can not ignore the fact that everyone is influenced by the same media in one way or the other. Anyways, we would be glad to have you with us in this silent revolution but please ensure you are up for this task and committed enough for a sustained effort.
