Obsolete Website of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB)

PSEBI was browsing for the list of IT companies of Pakistan and as you all will agree with me, the first site that came to my mind to visit to get my desired information was of Pakistan Software Export Board (PSEB). To my astonishment, the site of PSEB was itself not updated for quiet sometime. I am talking in particular about the main page where i could see “Event Calendar” where the event of even April 08 was listed. That i ignored because i do expect one or two odd things from government departments so i went ahead and i noticed that even the last update on Success Stories as appearing on main page is of “Apr-08″. It seems PSEB is too obsessed with the month of “Apr-08″ or that was the last month that they worked hard. And i was so adament to prove myself wrong that i further checked their “News” section as appearing on their main page and even there the last news was of 10th June 08. Seeing that i thanked Allah that at least someone have updated something after Apr-08 but my PSEB made sure that my little enjoyment don’t last for long with the news titled that “Zong to Invest $7 million in Pakistan”. This reminded me of a debate at some blog site where they were debating if the amount was wrongly mentioned or the people who said it were too stupid to mention such a small amount. I will go with the first argument that the amoung must be wrongly mentioned.

Anyways, i pray that no foreign company visit this site else the reputation of our whole country will suffer a setback. I would suggest to government to take a strick actions against the concerned people whose small negligence is affecting the reputation of the whole IT and Software industry of our country.
