Who says Musharraf has gone weak?
|
On a surprising note Lahore High Court (LHC) has disqualified Nawaz Sharif from contesting by-polls to be held after two days. Shebaz’s case is pending and has been forwarded to election commission. The decision allows Shehbaz Sharif to continue as Premier of Punjab & hold MPA status. PML (N) has termed it a total dictated decision from Musharraf which has left many of us pondering if Musharraf still has any muscle and support. The Nawaz lawyer has said that since they don’t accept PCO judges they will not refer it to Supreme Court. The “why” report is still to be highlighted by media but the hue and cry from PML (N) to restore judiciary will certainly rise. Let’s see if the agitation against Musharraf comes strongly. |

Actually i think the reason Musharraf sounds so confident is the fact that he has blind support of Mr. Zardari. Other wise how can he be so confident. The support by PPP to Mushrraf is evident from their stance on all major issues.
PPP has reservations on the verdict…says Faratullah Babar, spokesperson PPP.
lolz! You mean what i said ?
general public in Multan protests on the verdict…no doubt Nawaz Sharif is popular among masses (86% public confidence vote)

The Federal Budget
As always, taxes proposed in the 2008-2009 budget would not effect the common man.Chairman FBR (Mr Abdulla Yousuf who is famous fo r hisdance in front of Parvez Musharaf and Shaukat Aziz (see on http://www.Youtube.com)
Since FBR chairman is noble person, let us all believe in what he says. The volume of subsidies POL products has been reduced but this will have no negative impact on prices.
Electricity and gas charges have gone upbut this will not effet the lower and middle class.Federal excise duty on number of products, such as dairy products, and services, like telecom and banking, have increased but this will not burden the common man.
One percent increase in sales tax(GST) rate would not result in increase in prices of essential commodities.
The masses shall be rest assured that the govternment would not allow increase in prices of any item as consequence of new taxes imposed. If a spiral increase in prices of essential commodities is witnessed this would be without the government’s permission , of course.
Mr Chairman keep it up,and get foreign investment in Pakistan with your dances.
Wajid you sum it up in a interesting manner. Yes with their policies, his dance in the only way to attract some foreign attention.
