Announcing Professionals’ Board At Pro Pakistan

Pro Pakistan was started with the aim to discuss all about Pakistan, and we’ve made it to a little extent as well. Special thanks to Junaid for making Pro Pakistan a place that many people enjoy to visit. Thanks again!

Well, keeping our visitors interest in mind we’ve moved a step ahead and now proudly announce Pro Pakistan Professional’s Board. This is the place for expert and going to be expert Pakistani professionals to share their portfolio with rest of the world, and they can then proudly say that:

pro pakistan recommends me

The only difference we’ve made here is the securitization of profiles, i.e. we’re not allowing any registration and self creation of profiles, i.e. just to make sure that only authentic profiles are on board. The only way to be a part of this board is to email us your profiles. Please, find the details in Press, and keep on sending your profiles to Pro Pakistan.

And yes, this was one of the major reasons for my absence from blog. I need a little rest now [I won’t have that ever: P], and I’ll be back to the blog shortly!

And last but not least, please write me your ideas and opinions that you think can help Pro Pakistan improve!

  2. On a Sunday last February there was this outtage of the YouTube network that got a lot of attention on news sites where I live. One news site mentioned that the outtage had something to do with an MP of my country publishing content that the government of Pakistan felt they had to stop. And there was this link to a weblog where the writer was supporting the ban on YouTube.

Ofcourse this post was by Junaid on his weblog thelandofpure.blogspot.com and it got a lot of boisterousness attention from my fellow countrymen. I don’t read that much opinion non-technical weblogs, but for the next couple of days I couldn’t keep myself from reading the ardent responses and Junaid’s replies. Somehow I found it really interesting to see someone else’s opinion on events in Pakistan and the rest of the world.
Every once a while Pakistan is in the news and I got kind of hooked up on reading what Junaid and the readers of his blog were writing about it. Seeing if the news that I got from my local media is in line with that what people write on the internet.

Much that I read on the weblog was strange to me, so I bought a couple of books about Pakistan trying to get a better grasp on Pakistan history and politics. Your country started to fascinate me. I’m amazed by the hard job Pakistani people have to get consensus on political matters. The rapid development of its role in international affairs, and the contrasting subcultures of its citizens, makes it a hard exercise for Pakistan democracy to decide what is a fruitful path to follow and what will work out long term for the country.
I’m happy to see that people in Pakistan too are joining together in platforms like this website to actively discuss subjects that are important for the well-being of all Pakinstanis, debating the pros and contras of all that is going on. It allows for hope that many knowledgeble and intelligent politicians will follow-up who are much in contact with their fellow countrymen ensuring a broad basis for a strong, proud and independent Pakistan.

As an ousider I hope to see Pakistan develop internationally minded with an open outhward view as it has always been. Being able to see other nations in the world for what we are: groups of people that want to make the best out of things too, but sometimes have a hard time getting consensus through opposite views and interests. I truly belief that Pakistan can develop industries that thrive on trading relations to recover and prosper in 50 years. - Like India is taking over top-notch industries from Western countries right now. - Like the weakened European countries took over industries from the American and Asian continent 50 years ago. Because those countries let us work with them and we let those countries work with us, although we had been in conflict for ages before.

All it takes is a group of smart people daring to communicate, tune and turn views into solid plans. Today the internet is an excellent tool for communication and sites like Pro Pakistan help to tune minds of people to a more aware and pro-active state to make good things happen. - I’m glad you together take this platform to a new level a bit more professional step by step.

    Keep up the good work!

Eric that was a very detailed appreciation by you. I am nothing without this new team of mine who all share similar thoughts about the future of our country and am glad that you have been constantly giving us your feedback and guidance. That is sometime good for us as we might start thinking in isolation and thinking in isolation leads to misunderstandings in today’s world.
Being a member of Pro Pakistan, we would like to invite you to send us your profile and be part of Pro Pakistan board. Since you are a well wisher of our country, that makes you perfectly eligible for this title.
By the way we all would appreciate if you could write for us about your thoughts about our country. The above comment of your could be a blog at Pro Pakistan and i am sure we will be able to bridge the cultural differences between Pakistan and the West with you being on our panel.

  21. To Eric — thank you for your words.

Pakistan has indeed had a very shaky, and rather interesting history. ”It has been a helluva ride”!!!

A ball must hit the ground before it bounces back up again. And I think people are/will realize that we need to get our acts together. The past few years have seen instability. But God willingly we will continue to develop. Ours is a strategically located and resource-rich country. We have a lot of un-tapped potential. But the best way to judge a country is based on how the leaders and the institutions GIVE BACK to the citizens –i.e. public services.

We have a lot of work ahead of us. But we love our country no matter what the situation is.

    Peace to all.

Thanks alot for your kind words. I am the Founder of this blog but people like you are the real owners of it who come here to express their love for our motherland. We made this site to express the true picture of our country and to negate the propaganda against it by our enemies. Together we will make a difference in the history of our country. At the end, at least we will say
‘we indeed give it a try and tried to do our part of the job’
