Water filtering tricycle designed specifically for Developing Countries

In developing countries, like ours, getting clean drinking water is a real challenge. Industrial waste has choked all the rivers and the sea water along with other fresh water reservoirs. People in villages have to walk a long distances in search of drinking water. This duty is often performed by children and women. They have to walk long distances to approach a well or a pond to fetch water whose purity and cleanliness is still a question mark.

Pakistani women in search of water

These village women from Pakistan’s southern Sindh province embark on a water search, carrying traditional earthenware pots in addition to their small children.

In order to address this problem (long walks in search of water and getting pure water), an innovator has come up with a creative tri-cycle that not only reduces the time to search water but also cleans it up to drinking level. This tri-cycle is specifically designed for developing countries and can solve the problems of poor villagers.

Aquaduct water filtering tricycle

With a built-in filtering system, this tricycle named Aquaduct could provide clean water while driving.
